The 2009 NCAA Division I Volleyball Selection Show is on Sunday the 29th of November at 3:00 pm ET (Approx) on ESPN News. This could get very interesting on how they will seed teams.

Unfortunately women's volleyball doesn't seem to be important enough to list on ESPN News. I know it was listed last year but it was on late. More than likely will be late this year also. Have to watch a bunch of other sports highlights to make sure we don't miss it

You never know till you ask. About 10 years ago I was in Denver on a Sunday afternoon when a Husker volleyball match was being televised. I call one of the sports bars and they said they'd find a tv off in a corner somewhere so we could watch it. When we got there, and talked to them about it at the door, they arranged for one of the televisions over some pool tables that weren't be used to have our match on. Sat on the edge of the pool table, had a couple of brews and watch the match. I'd do some calling around and you might get lucky.

3:00 PM ET (approx.) . Approx is the key word. In the past maybe 8-10 minutes at the end of the segment and it happens really fast.

I hope somebody posts it on line as I have no TV. it sounds like the program goes too fast to write all the seedings down. My experience has been the NCAA does not post on line for hours afterward; maybe I'm mistaken.

VT is pretty quick about getting the info out also the bracket is out not long after the show.

It should be a fun afternoon. I should lodge an objection to the at large teams, the seeds, the locations, the match-ups or something before VT is flooded with complaints.

grrr...for some reason, ESPNews isn't being transmitted right now in the DC area to me...called to try and get to the bottom of it, but so far not fixed. So much more exciting to watch it announced live...I'll have to rely on all of you to make it through :-)

That's one of the biggest strengths of collaborative information sites like VolleyTalk. You can rest assured that every person who watches the show will make special note of their favorite team's subregional and regional site. The aggregate self-interest of all the individual fans will build a complete picture within a pretty short time.



Or at least that's the way I hope it works, because I'll be away from a TV for the next four hours.
