Great scenario , BYU lose to Hawaii twice , UCI lose to BYU twice and Pepperdine wins all of teir remaining games and the playoffs are in Malibu again. If Pepperdine loses to UCI then 3 way tie for MPSF . What is the tie breaker ?? I think the tie breakers are head to head competition, then games won against the tied teams, then points won against the tied teams, then a coin toss. I know the first is definately head to head competition, but I am not sure what happens in a three way tie. Right now, the play off picture is still too fuzzy but BYU, UCI, Hawaii, and Pepperdine are all still in control of their own destinies (for the most part). All only have 2 or 3 losses, with Long Beach next with 5 loses. BYU still has their series at Hawaii and UCI along with Long Beach. Pepperdine has a match at UCI along with a home match against Long Beach. Hawaii has the UCLA and BYU series, aside from matches with the bottom MPSF teams. For these four teams, the chance to host still exists. After this weekend, we will have a clearer picture.

This is a VERY crucial game for Hawaii both analyctically speaking, physically speaking, and mentally speaking.
In order for good seeding, they must take advantage of their home court advantage and defeat UCLA. Although I think they have a legit shot at wining- with their quick offense, but as history has shown UCLA has pretty much always had Hawaii's number. They need to serve really well, and be ready to pass nails because I have no doubt in my mind that Al and his squad are gonna try and put together a run towards the end of the season.
***On a side note, the last time UH was able to sweep a series with UCLA was in 2002 in Honolulu- and of course that was the year they "won" the NCAA'S.***
