My theory is she got fired from Iowa on purpose so she could follow Ali's career. ;D BTW, coaching at Wartburg probably demands a lot less than a Big-10 program.

BLASPHEMY (confusing Wartburg and Luther is a major insult to the folks at either school)
First off, she and Farokh are at LUTHER. They took the job about a month ago! Second, it was UNI that dropped Iowa. Iowa wanted to do a 4 team 2-day tourney with all in-state schools. UNI balked.

I think the Wartburg reference is about Farok assisting Wartburg volleyball the last couple of seasons. This was alluded to on page 3...and their hiring announcement (which was linked in a post last month, I believe), and in Farok's bio. I don't think there was any confusion on Mocha's part though.

Second, it was UNI that dropped Iowa. Iowa wanted to do a 4 team 2-day tourney with all in-state schools. UNI balked. With good reason. UNI already plays Drake twice a year, why would they want to add another round to the schedule? Of course, Cindy knew that, which is why she did it. When you make an offer you know the others won't accept, you can't claim innocence when they don't. Meanwhile, the UNI/Iowa St rivalry heats up, without any "in state school tournament."
