It's been a few weeks since I put some real time into determining the REAL National rankings. Because of the quality of teams this year in the Midwest and East, I thought it proper to expand the top 15 rankings into the Top 25. The following rankings reflect much time and consideration given to team records, head to head competition and strength of schedule. I consider them to be EXTREMELY accurate through the week of March 27th. And now, without further delay, and at the risk of my "WARNING LEVEL" being raised from 25%, here are the new Top 25 National Rankings, brought to you by a "TROLL". #1 UC Irvine #2 BYU #3 Hawaii #4 Pepperdine #5 Northridge #6 Long Beach #7 USC #8 UCLA #9 Santa Barbara #10 Pacific #11 Little Company of Mary (nuns)#12 IPFW #13 George Mason #14 Penn State #15 The Academy of Arts and Sciences#16 Loyola, Chicago #17 Stanford #18 Jerry's Kids#19 Ohio State #20 The School for the Blind#21 Ball State #22 Sunny Brook Retirement Home#23 Lewis #24 Oakridge Pre-School#25 Quincy Don't hate the messenger!

Sorry "Troll", but you are going to have to give IPFW more credit than 12th, since they beat down your precious Pacific twice this season...
10. IPFW 11. Little Company of Mary (nuns) 12 Pacific

Sorry "battlestar1", but you are missing one little thing. The following week, UOP beat two teams ranked higher than IPFW, when they beat Santa Barbara and NORTHRIDGE. And those results out weigh the 2 losses to IPFW, and those results are more recent than the 2 IPFW losses, so by virtue of those two wins, Pacific stays right where they are at, in front of IPFW. That was a nice try there, and good reporting on your part. But NO SOUP FOR YOU!! Thanks for your input though.

It's not a joke! The National Rankings come out EVERY WEEK. I just didn't have time to really research it last week, so I didn't post them. These come out every week! Get with the program!

So, why was IPFW still ranked ahead of Pacific in the "Real" polls last week...
Head to Head - - IPFW is BETTER than Pacific, have proved it and should be ranked higher...
10. IPFW 11. Little Company of Mary (blind, one-handed nuns) 12. Pacific
;D ;D ;D ...NO SOUP FOR YOU... ;D ;D ;D
But again, nice try with the humor, your posts are always good for a laugh...

I can't believe you haven't moved the Nuns up!! With their solid D and a block we haven't seen in years. I would be careful of not giving the Nuns their props. ;D
(they have connections!!!)

That is very valid point "volleydog" I'll have to consider moving the nuns up, but I don't think that they can beat Pacific, so I think they are ranked as high as they can be this week. After all, Pacific did beat Northridge and Santa Barbara.

Loyola beat IPFW and George Mason in 3 the only face to face meetings between the schools. Guess you didn't actually research at all idiot! You must be enrolled at Oakridge Pre-School because you can't reason yet.

Dear "mivamiva2", when will you learn my child? Loyola's wins over IPFW and GMU were clear back on Jan. 28 and Feb. 3rd, my son. The poll is meant to reflect where teams are at in comparison on March 27th. Things change, my young apprentice. If I apply your logic all the way through, then IPFW should still be ranked higher than Loyola. After all, Ball State beat Loyola back on Feb. 10, and IPFW beat Ball State one week later on Feb. 17, so IPFW should still be ranked higher than Loyola if I use your logic. The point is, we are now in late March, and with big wins by Mason over Penn State this last weekend, and IPFW on a 14 match winning streak and, in my opinion, the hottest team in the MIVA right now, and as "pepperdoody" pointed out, Loyola's recent loss to NAIA Cal Baptist, with all those things considered, I'm afraid that Loyola ranks no higher than #16, right behind the "OSCARS" of the Academy of Arts and Sciences. ;D ;D You see, I do put much research and thought into my poll. You are entitled to your amateur opinion though.
