Endicott will be looking for a new coach at the end of this season. They have told the players and recruits that they will be splitting the position and Coach Byram will be staying with the women's team and picking up other administrative duties. The men's position will be full time and combined with assistant sports information. Last year he was going to stay with the men's team and they were going to hire a women's coach. They actually posted the job. Now they are going the other way. I wonder if this is Byram's decision or the administration's?

He does Complaince and Transportation already so those would be the other parts of his job description. By having sports info with the men, that person is available in the fall with football and the full fall load going on...then in season with only bball in reality...then done in mid-april and available during the sping.

I heard that the coach was let go. We are only about a month away from men's season. Their roster is nearly void of talent due to graduation and a number of transfers (I have no clue what the freshman class looks like--only one recruit listed on middlehitter). Should make for an interesting process. I would assume that it is still a full-time position (head coach for both men's and women's teams plus other administrative duties)

Nothing says "we Care about the program" more than hiring a head coach who just graduated, who has no experience, and might even be younger than some of the players.

Come on, mentoring the 8th grade CYO team from his town has to count for something! If anything, he's got to be the frontrunner for signing those players in a few years! The school probably got him at a big discount, since he is already working for the school. It has been a very long time since Mount Saint Vincent has been good.

Wasn't Shane Davis a recent graduate of Loyola when he was hired as the Head Coach of the Ramblers? He graduated Spring of 2003 and was named head coach that next season. Loyola has done pretty well since then. I am not saying Mike Quinn is Shane Davis, but you never know who will be a good coach for a school/team until they are thrown into the mix. Give him time to build a reputation, before we blast the kid, we were all green at one time. So say the man that once held that position...

Alderson-Broaddus Introduces Men's Volleyball Coach
A few weeks ago, Alderson-Broaddus athletic director Denny Creehan, introduced four new coaches, for four new programs the university will compete in starting next season.
One of the more radical sports that the Battlers are introducing is Men's Volleyball. It's a sport not played in many high schools in West Virginia but the demand for it at the college level is at a peak nationally.
Michael Crane is the newly appointed head coach who has plenty of experience to bring a national program to the Mountain State.
Crane comes to A-B from multiple coaching stints in Muskegon Michigan, one of which was at Muskegon Community College.
The up and coming sport will bring top notch athletes from all over the country as well as play top tier competition.
"I really just tell them about our schedule. Men's volleyball, you can find a place to play anywhere, but you cant find a competitive place to play anywhere," coach Crane stated.
