Hello guys! I'm new here. I'm Paulo from Brazil and I'd like to know if you could help me with information on courses I must take there in the US to become a volleyball coach. I've been playing the sport for many years and also watching and studying videos about it. I'm always following both national and international matches and championships. I live in a city where we have one of the best women's team in the world - Molico/Osasco - that has in its line-up great players as Sheilla, Thaisa, Jaqueline, Garay, Destinee Hooker also played here once and is possibily coming back for next season. And near here we also have the male team with Murilo, Lucao, the great libero Serginho and some others. I wrote that because I'm always on courts watching matches and learning more. If anyone of you guys could help me with information about that, I'd be really thankful.

So are some other coaches who have been encouraged to apply. That said, there is nothing I or probably anybody else here can learn that JCVBALL22 doesn't already know, so I'm going to trust her until an announcement is made.

Here is one of the previous openings I was speaking of, already filled. www.saubees.com/article/1513.phpThis seems like a questionable hire to me, and yes it's for a sexist reason. If the sexes were reversed (young male coach/female team) I know there would be a lot of people upset about it, and some parents who would have concerns, funny how it doesn't seem to matter when it's reversed. But, how will the guys respond to her is the ultimate question.

I don't think you are going to draw many high profile coaches. You are going to have to have multiple jobs.

NJIT is open as the highlanders decided not to renew the contract of coach McNeil who has been there since 2004. Can't say that I'm surprised as njit has been a disappointment for the past few seasons.

It became official yesterday. The Eagle is staying home and the alums and people close to the program are very happy about it.

Since no one else has brought this up. What happened in NJ? NJCU or NJIT? One job is considerably different than the other...
