Rumor swirling that a big cat is turning in his stripes. Princeton? I know there has been lot of talk about them on the board but this would be quite the surprise.

goprincetontigers.com/news/2022/2/21/mens-volleyball-thank-you-pat-shawaryn.aspxWait, so Walthall leaves his team in February for a woman's job, which isn't great but I guess I get it. Penn State needed an assistant and isn't Dennis breaking down film for them? But instead of hiring him even on an interim basis, they offer the assistant from Princeton mid-season! And Pat leaves his team mid-season to coach against them in about 3 weeks? Am I reading the situation correctly? When did they announce the filming of the Real Housewives of the EIVA?

Kansas Wesleyan has their new HC. This one bucks the trend as they are going from coaching women's to men's....

With the season ending in the next couple of weeks, which coaches are on the "hot seat"? Honestly, I dont see many coaches at the D1/2 level on the hot seat. MPSF - Nygaard was really the only seat that had some heat (According to VT posters). Being ranked #5, he'll be back next season. UCLA, Grand Canyon, Pepperdine, Stanford, BYU, and Concordia are all fine. Either the coach is well established, got screwed because the school almost lost MVB and he lost a season of recruiting, or is brand new a la Concordia. Big West - LBSU, Hawaii, UCSB, and UCSD all had good seasons. UC Irvine and CSUN have established coaches and it's doubtful the admin is gonna get rid of them after a down season. MIVA - Nothing to worry about here. Ball State, Loyola, Mckendree, and Lewis all winning. Ohio State and IPFW down, but playing better as of late. Lindenwood has a down year and Quincy is what we expected. EIVA - Penn State, NJIT, Princeton, Harvard, Saint Francis PA, and George Mason all had good seasons or have established coaches. Charleston has a new coach. SF Brooklyn is a newer program. Sacred Heart is just Sacred Heart so..... Independent - Most of these are new programs or they did just fine where a coach is not getting fired. Conference Carolinas - Nobody is getting fired here, bigger chance a coach leaves. SIAC - All new teams, nobody is getting fired.

SIAC - All new teams, nobody is getting fired. NGU’s Head Coach Fred Battenfield is gone after this year. His Assistant is the replacement. Lee’s McRae will be determined if that guy wants to stay there. Erskine would be an interesting one to watch: Their coach was rumored to leave but doubt he will especially after claiming fifth in their conference tournament. Belmont got a new guy and we’ll see if he will stay or resume playing. Despite a bad year, Barton will keep Lennox. He could’ve done way better with his ‘21 and ‘20 classes but it be what it be. King and UMO are the only two team with no news and most definitely safe coaches. Central State’s Head Coach from what I heard left for another coaching opportunity. Everyone else for now is safe. Same goes for the IVA, could see some moves but it depends on the portal moves.

Looking like the job at Sacred Heart is about to be open.
Saw a video of the coach slapping a player tonight. Pretty wild

With this incident at SHU, that position will surely be open. Kean (NJ) DIII school have a change as well. There will also be at least 2 more rumored to be open in the SIAC and 3 total with Ray Lewis leaving for Merrimack (New DI program in MA)
Get those resumes ready
