Hello all, I wanted to let you know that the Boy's Head Volleyball Coaching position at Valhalla High School in El Cajon, CA is open. They are looking for someone with experience to take over the boy's program and work with the girl's program as a JV or Freshman coach. missed this announcement:
The Pepperdine men's volleyball program welcomes back Rod Wilde as an assistant coach. Wilde, who was inducted in the Pepperdine Athletics Hall of Fame in 2009, won an NCAA championship with the Waves as a student-athlete in 1978 before coaching them to the title in 1986.

He's a nice guy. rod was interim head coach at pepperdine while dunphy on leave from pep & winning gold in the 1985-88 olympic quadrennial (wilde won a ncaa championship while leading the waves), and also was head men's coach at uc san diego in the early '90's. good coach... |

Just a shot in the dark... they fired the women's coach for going 10-20 this year, and then remembered they have a men's volleyball team too. |

Just a shot in the dark... they fired the women's coach for going 10-20 this year, and then remembered they have a men's volleyball team too. The Assistant has previous collegiate men's coaching experience, so I'd imagine he'll be taking over for this Spring. |

Any word on Barton College. I know they had reached out to their lead candidates several weeks ago but not sure where they are in the process now.
