yea thats true if you love something that much it is hard to get out of your heart. we will jsut have to see what happens wiht that team but still huge props for them to pulling off a nearly flawless season. And yes i think LC and UofI are going to be probably two of the top teams wiht UofI returning most players and most importatnly Deeke and Fabs they are just two dominate players, the loss of rob may hurt a little bit but they get great illinois volleyball players that come in from high school. As for LC they are literally returning everyone i believe except for that senior year and being ranked second in the nation for majority of the year wiht freshman soph and jrs wiht one senior, well that is jsut a powerfull team. Def looking forward to watch the two outsides from LC just dominate teams and if im not mistaken one of the outsides is a freshman and he is definatly going to be an outstanding player in years to come he was really fun to watch, hes got some skills and i heard a rumor that he had 300+ kills on the year and 60+ aces that is one hell of a freshman season him and deeke were prob the two best freshman players this year and both coming from illinois. if im not mistaken they played against each other in club also. definatly players to watch along wiht their teams should be interesting next year after a relaxing off season of beach and grass games

I think it would be very difficult to pinpoint which player is the most underrated player out of the entire tourney. But I'll give it a shot...
University of Pittsburgh considering they were seeded 46th out of 48 teams. They beat MSU the #3 team, and placed in the top 25 or 20....Could've placed in top 10 if they didn't play incosistent on Friday...but they'll be back next year since everyone is returning.
There MH is a beast too, he shut down every MH he faced and put the ball away when he got the set...
I'm also surpised that Santa Clara's OH - the shorter guy didn't make the all tourney team. That guy had an arm and was clutch.
I'm also surpised that Oshkosh - Jeff Thomas didn't make all tourney team.

If the shorter OH for Santa Clara is #4, he did make all- tournament (2nd team). If I remember him from last year, #4 wasn't all that big. scmb19...did you stick around for the awards? Thanks to cyberVBmidwest for the post with the link to the ATT/MVP/Champion Teams page.

www.nirsa.net/sc/vb/2006/att_mvp.htm just crawl up to the top and click On NIRSA and then on the big logo to get to the page with all the various links, pre and post rankings, etc.
