I’m headed to France in 2 days. I’ll pack a wig and join the team. Can’t wait to set against Carlini in 2024. you probably could. Setter is their weakest position Interesting their men are good but there women’s development is very weak. |

I think Alex’s parents are both French (with her dad being from Martinique) but I could be misremembering - it’s been a while.

I’ve been following her on IG and her original plan was to qualify for Tokyo 2 weeks ago if she and her beach partner won the Continental Cup. However, they lost their first match and was eliminated immediately. She and Bricio will always be USC’s greats who won the National Player of the Year nods. Bricio has made waves in her pro career and I really hope Alex gets her due. She’s such a humble and talented player. Maybe it’s not too late and she gets picked up by higher tiered European leagues if she does well indoors. She’s still young enough in her career as a pro to do well. Wishing her all the luck. Is Haak technically eligible to play for France? I think her Mom is French and French citizenship should qualify her. Or I don’t know crap about what I am saying. Lol

I don’t know if she has French citizenship. She’d technically be able to play (if she had citizenship and she wanted to) but she’d have to wait the eligibility period |
