Man, if only Costco got the concession at Hec Ed. Can you imagine having one of those $1.50 hot dogs & sodas at game time! Instead of what you get at most arenas: .

Heck - I remember Price Club, where a founder of Costco learned the business. The competition before the merger was interesting. Around where I lived, the Costco in Richmond, CA had a better location closer to a major freeway, while the Price Club location was way out in the boonies, about 2 miles from the freeway, and with several turns and a railroad crossing. After the merger it was pretty obvious which location was going to survive. For the Thousand Oaks area there was a Unity Catalog store just over the hill in Camarillo, It became a Price Club and then a Costco. Now there is one right in Westlake Villiage, where my parents live.
