Apparently Caguas' libero, Dominican star Brenda Castillo, wasn't able to get her work visa in time to play the match and therefore they had Gordon play libero.

After her struggles as a receiver, hitting at opposite must be freeing! ;D I wonder if Cortese will continue with this lineup (i.e. Hodge opposite Berg) for as long as Aguero is out. I suspect Hodge will be able to contribute more for her club as opposite than playing position 4 at this point in her career. However, the less repetitions she has at passing, the more challenging it becomes to compete for an OH spot for the NT. I'm glad to see Berg back in action. This is a huge match for her and even better that they got the win. Cortese improves to 6-3 record in the Italian League.

could that mean Hodge and Hooker Fighting for Starting Spot on Team USA!!! opening up a spot at OH... perhaps Klineman.
