Not my current favorite song, but one of my favorites of all time: Sarah Brighton, along with Celine Dion, are singers who I love to listen to, but can't stand to watch. They just annoy me.

Josh Groban, Dion, Whitney in her heyday, and Michael Crawford.

I've been listening to Gasoline Heart recently. The front man Louie is a really awesome dude and I had the pleasure of performing with him in Gainesville last spring during his solo tour (I butchered some Petty... which should be a sin in Gainesville).
There aren't too many good quality videos of the band on Youtube so this will have to do, its Louie performing acoustic at a bus stop in Denver:

I can't get this song out of my head. ;D ... Sorry to hear that--literally. When I originally saw that video a little while back I thought to myself "who would make such a terrible video?" so I looked into it and it turns out the label is Ark Music Factor and a factory is basically what they are: they take a bunch of tweens and young teens, give them one terribly written song each (which is usually auto-tuned), make a video, post it on Youtube to try and go viral, and then set up a mall tour.....alll with within a few day. Many people believe that the parents of these kids are forking over tons of cash to the label because there's no way the label could handle the budget of the videos and mall tours by itself as well as make profit. They will basically take anyone who wants to sing as long as they fall in the age range. I smell something fishy here.
