Kathryn Randorf MB from Ohio uncommitted in addition to those above I was hoping Amaya Thomas was the middle we were looking for. Springy, powerful, athletic, has that quick twitch about her.

I really like Xu’s backsets Yeah, just from videos, she looks like she'd rather backset. I guess they're about the same height, but Minor looks to be a better jumper and maybe more athletic. She claims she can dunk a volleyball! Xu has some of the softest hands I've seen. I sure would have liked to hit her sets. Nice problem for Stanford to have.

What if they ran a 6-2 with Kipp and Fidelak/Berty/Francis at opposite?

Xu vs Miner : Compare and contrast plz for us non-stanford fans? I'm genuinely curious. Hype-wise, seems like two very good setters back to back Miner reminds me of Alisha Glass coming out of high school. Super athletic, spent a lot of time as a hitter, oozes potential as a setter. I think she eventually comes out on top, which is unfortunate for Xu because she’d start at literally any other program in the country. So, a setter who has played in 4 sets in college and registered a total of 7 assists can start for any other program in the country? lol

I also take this back. She wouldn’t start over Hillary and Blossom, maybe a handful of others who I can’t think of now. But she’d definitely start over all 3 of the setters on your fave team’s roster. Did that strike a nerve?

I agree with most of this but are u implying miner has hit more than set? Setting has been her primary position since she was 13, and for 2 years now I’m pretty sure she’s exclusively set Splitting hairs here, but quarantine is boring so here you go: no, I’m not implying that. She spent a significant amount of time as a hitter in her youth. Comparison to Glass and her high school days is to highlight the fact that Miner is athletic, versatile, and still has lots of room to grow even though she’s already very impressive.

Quit splitting hairs. You know who they meant. Also, a healthy Xu would start over Blossom & it's not even close. She'd probably even give the predictable Hilley a run for her money if I had to guess.

I agree. I think she’s the 3rd best setter in the country next year behind Hilley and Lilley. Definitely better than blossom lol that made me laugh. Would start on any B1G Except wisco, pac 12, Big 12 team easily.
