I wonder if Xu will enter the portal and play her grad year at another prestigious academic institute? Maybe UCLA? ive heard the same. id like to see her go to a top 15 team tho. she was very highly recruited (might've been the top setter in her class) but miner is just also very good. manifesting xu to Louisville or somewhere big that's losing their setter next year. not texas tho lol

Perhaps Selina is about to cash in on (pun intended) the saying on the banners hanging in the AD: "Choosing Stanford Is A 40 Year Decision". Students DO have their own lives, dreams and agendas. Have some news: those who I gave the scoop to earlier (that Kurt had formally committed to the admissions process over five weeks ago...which she obviously succeeded in accomplishing) please feel free to DM me. You are going to like this!

We need to start working on charter jets for the volleyball team, at least for most matches. Also, graduating senior Natalie Berty is headed to NYC to work for JPMorgan Chase

USD pales in comparison to the second seeds in the other 3 quarters of the bracket. Were any Stanford alums on the selection committee? huh? San Diego beat osu and Pitt, and played Louisville extremely close at home. how could you say that nebraska is a tougher opponent at this point than usd? try to completely ignore the names of the programs and watch the teams / look at their records. I would much rather face nebraska or Minnesota than usd as they have both shown they can be very beatable. san Diego has not. also, texas will only have to face 1 of usc, osu, or Minnesota. they will all run into each other before one of them gets to texas... its not like they're playing all 3 of them lmao +1 to this, if I were stanford I would much, much rather be facing nebraska than USD. gabby blossom is insane

I am aware that rankings don't mean all that much to many. Nonetheless, I will venture to guess that the AVCA voters will have the Card #6 tomorrow, and #5 on Nov 28. As there is a break in the action, I'll pat myself on the back for a little fun. As bigfan would say, "called it!"

That’s the great thing about life huh? Everyone gets to think what they want. I think winning recently does help and losing recently does hurt. Obviously nobody is going to argue that you need talented players, good chemistry etc but there’s a ton of talent out there so intangibles matter. Wisconsin or Kentucky probably shouldn’t win but I like their chances more than that of the Longhorns. Crazy eh? I’m sure nothing will be proven but I think the collar gets a bit tighter for some teams more than others. I’d definitely rather be taking to the court with one history vs the other. Well, hopefully Stanford gets sent to UT's regional and we can rehash this. Well THAT didn’t work out. We’ll see if they both play up to their seeding. It’s gonna be a battle 😄

I think stanford has improved more than texas this year, dont think we're necessarily better but the gap from September to now is much smaller imo.

As a Stanford alum, I would love to see them challenged in winning their quarter rather than watch them steam roll every other team.

I would much prefer to see Stanford being challenged in winning their quarter than steam roll every other team there. Their advance to the semis would be a lot more convincing.
