I really like her. She is pretty raw but that combo of size and athleticism you just don’t see that often. Of the three she would be at the top of my list…. Kinney is in a league of her own on this list, IMO. if someone puts her in a gym for a year and tells her she isn't allowed to hit until she passes a 2.2 or higher for a week straight, she'd have #1 recruit potential. It is rare for someone that tall to be an effective passer. OTOH, she looks like a good replacement for Kipp. How's her hitting from the right side? I like her blocking as it looks like she could very effective shutting down the opposition's A hitter on the left side.

Tribe and Wildfire played in the finals in Orlando this weekend so you will see the height difference. Should be some decent footage coming out....

FWIW, these clips are from NTDP. All of these girls are high level D1 recruits. And Hazel towers over them. Pretty crazy....

I like the videos of Glass. She reminds me of Jenna Gray, but a lefty.

Do you mean Kinney or Hazel? Hazel is way more coordinated and athletic than Lutz. She probably isn't quite as tall but close.

I have seen a ton of these South Florida girls. When it all works well Kinney hits the snot out of the ball. No doubt. But we were at a small Florida tournament this weekend and she was not passing 6 rotations. FWIW, not really sure she has #1 recruit potential. Absolutely destroying a perfectly set ball against poor competition isn't the measure of that kind of a player. She is very good though. Hazel is a legit 6-6 with really long arms and legs. Very skinny. Clearly doesn't have full control of her limbs yet but is pretty athletic. Very athletic for a girl her size. She isn't nearly the player Kinney is right now but just screams potential. She is just way more athletic than the 2024 6-6 MB we are recruiting. Will be interesting to see what happens with Charlotte Glass. 6-0 and very athletic. She is a lefty and can really attack the ball as a setter. Don't see that very often. If her hands got better she could be a top recruit as well. Good to know. Something about really physical OH’s like Burgess and Franklin coming out of FL that makes them look more impressive at that level. Is there just a lower level of all around competition making the elite ones stand out in your opinion?

Is there just a lower level of all around competition making the elite ones stand out in your opinion? FL has a pretty good volleyball community. But Central FL is much better than South FL. OTVA is very much the dominant club in Orlando/Tampa. I would say that central FL also likely just has better overall players. South Florida there is no real dominant club. Tribe is probably becoming the strongest but the best players are still spread out over multiple clubs. And generally when you look at videos it really depends on the event. Some events are very strong national events and some are weaker local events....

Burgess' body was definitely mature coming out of HS but I think her body type worked against her. She was stockier with shorter arms which really affected her blocking, but it did make her a great passer and back row defender. Remember that Stanford match against Michigan in a Regional Final years ago where BLUE kept going to their OPP and running slides against the Burgess block and scoring at will. It was awful to watch in person and I felt helpless.

I like the videos of Glass. She reminds me of Jenna Gray, but a lefty. Here is a video of Charlotte. Not sure she is the raw athlete that Gray or Miner are but she is pretty athletic. As a lefty she can really attack the ball. Not sure I have seen anyone else with that kind of attacking ability. What is going to limit her is her hands are good but not great. That could improve so we will see.

I'm hoping Taylor Harvey is another '25 on our list. So much potential.
