Belardi will be missed on the indoor side, but I am glad she will be able to focus full-time on beach. Stanford beach has real shot at the title this year and in the coming years. Belardi is already an important part of the lineup, winning a lot at the 3s and 4s - often against more experienced players. This year, she plays with a freshman blocker and last year, she was part of a very successful all-freshman pair. Imagine how good she'll be when she gets to practice solely for beach all year, instead of only half the time.

On a related note, Rubin looks like she would be so good on the beach. An all-around great player whose skills would likely translate well to the beach game. Elena Oglivie too. Anyone know if she ever really played beach volleyball? I know Koko Kirsch and Anna Pringle have played from the indoor side.

. Imagine how good she'll be when she gets to practice solely for beach all year, instead of only half the time. Belardi was heavily recruited as a beach player and considered one of, if not the best 'small' in her class. Easily could've have gone to program like UCLA or USC. I'm excited for the beach program that they get her full time now

Sadly, Stanford fell to LSU 3-2. What a dual though! Both teams battled hard

Still time for admissions to make decisions about 2025. So Sayer is the only scholarship MB for 2025? She's ok but I don't see her leading Stanford to a final four. Is Hambly looking overseas?
Thanks to Texashorns for posting about Parks.

Thanks to Texashorns for posting about Parks. There can’t possibly only be 2 scholarship MBs in 25. He must have another 25-most likely overseas since there’s no other possibilities in the states

This is a good get. Question. Ya'll know if she was recruited to set or hit? I'd imagine it's setter with the possibility of utility in a 6-2. I'm not saying Parks can't hit, but when you compare her to the number of great pin arms in this class (and there are a lot), there is simply no way Hambly recruited her to be a Stanford level pin attacker.
