Domino effect from Nwanebu leaving: Mick is going hard after Plummer right now, and has offered to rescind his "No indoor players can play beach" policy just for her. Interesting...... That'd be a big hit to Stanford if she committed elsewhere.

What I have been worrying the whole time. Look for Plummer to commit to USC any time. Or at least I hope Hayley Hodson can pull Plummer to commit to the Farm.

Sources say Stanford is her dream school. Dreams can change and she is a 16-year old, but I think Stanford is still in the drivers seat IF she passes admissions.

Will it create chemistry issues for players on USC's team who were told no sand play? Probably not. Will Mick promise her she can set? Possibly. I hope Dunning and staff are still recruiting her hard until a decision is made. The liability for Stanford might be no big name sand coach in place at this time. Unfortunately I don't think elite players make decisions based on what school their friends choose. I don't think Hodson going to Stanford will influence Plummer's decision.

No one turns down Stanford for Mick Haley. No one Not likely, but USC is a good 2nd choice. I still think Mick's big problem is relating to the younger generation because he is really old school. Mick can still recruit them in, but once he's coaching them, that's when issues arise. Hopefully Plummer is taking note of the players beating the door down to leave USC.

"Dream school" would be an overstatement, I think. At any rate, I have no idea whether she can be swayed from Stanford, but if I were Dunning my biggest concern wouldn't be Mick, it would be the attraction of playing sand at a top program with some of her BFF's.

Just saw on one of the PV message boards that Hentz is expected to announce her decision in the next week. They said she was going "to the land of the dancing trees". What does that mean? When is she announcing?

No one turns down Stanford for Mick Haley. No one Giving up a chance to get a degree from Stanford just to play volleyball for Mick Haley? I'd beat her parents for not teaching her better.

Oh ye of little faith and naysayers... I am trusting that these wonderful recruits are committed to the Stanford process and that admissions will allow them all to announce their Stanford decisions (very soon) as a 2016 class. When we say very soon, what does that mean? Within this week or next week? Its May already and I remember the class of Carly and Sam Wopat, Rachel Williams and Lydia Bai all announced their commitment May of that year. Getting antsy already.

I hope you know more than the rest of us. The only potential recruit I have been hearing about is Fitzmorris. I hear it could possibly be some time before her announcement is made. There was a rumor going around VT Stanford fans six weeks ago that two recruits were admitted. I heard from a source I consider reliable that they had not been admitted at that time. I am not sure what to believe at this point. I won’t have faith in anything until there is a published article about the recruits.
