I know it’s an unpopular opinion, but I’d love to see Plummer back on the right and playing 6 rotations. Move Fitzmorris back to the middle and have Kipp take the other outside spot. Possibly having Formico play back row for her. Just rewatching all these matches from last season, it’s obvious Plummer is at another level on the right. Like, so much fun to watch.
Can’t wait to see what Hambly decides to do.

Based on the comments Fitzmorris made about how playing middle caused the back pain she had at the end of the 2017 season, I'm skeptical she would play middle full-time this season. I expect to see a variety of lineups for experimentation, development, and matchup purposes.

How about they redshirt Gray, Plummer, Hentz, and Fitz and play all the freshmen. LOL

This is so accurate lol I'm in the "no way Fitzmorris is moving from the right camp," but I've squawked before about Plummer belonging on the right. How important is effective line hitting on the right? I've always believed that good line hitting OPP's are golden, but I have no stats to back me up. Fitz has developed a pretty good line hit, but Plummer is a star. Line on the left, not so important. I liked the good high line hitters like Logan and Klineman, but that's about it. I guess it's just craps shooting: "Line away!"

My RS blocker accidentally went inside and gave Uvaldo Acosta the fulllllll effing line, leaving me wide open.

I haven't visited VT for awhile. I have become more interested in work than volleyball. Is something wrong with me. I will get more enthusiastic when the season starts and I know who is in the starting lineup. If Stanford runs a 5-1 will Xu beat out Gray for starting setter?

Whens the last time a first team All american was ever beaten out by a freshman?
I don't recall it ever happening.

I think it’s simple. Grays age or accolades shouldn’t be taken in to,account for the most part. If xu comes in and is outplaying her, as much as I love Jenna, than xu should get the spot. I personally don’t see that happening but whoever plays the best will be seeing the court, at least that’s how it should be

Since there's no question mark after "wrong with me," I'm assuming this isn't a question, but a strange bit of needling. Hell, I'll play. Chance of Stanford running a 5-1=101%.
