I merely report the facts. That is bulls*&%. You bend them and insinuate toward things you really have no clue about and make it fact. You really should be employed with the National Enquirer. I linked to a Lincoln, NE newspaper. Are you saying the reporter and his editor are bending the facts? By they way, your syntax boggles the mind. I hope you don't have a degree in English from the U. of Nebraska.

"Merely reporting the facts" because you linked to the Journal-Star article? Sorry, but "The Nubs haven't even played a game in the Big Ten and they are already diminishing the academic reputation of the conference" is NOT reporting the facts. Looks more like you're just venting your hatred for all things red. And it's really pathetic.

You chose to not list the reasons as to why they were mentioned in the article but that doesn't surpise me. Every university could look bad if we just dig. For instance your famous meteorology program headed by the esteemed Michael Mann was investigated for falsifying evidence in their research . Even Mr. Al Gore used the symbol by Mann for his arguements about global warming and its shocking to find that the University and Mann ," doctored," their evidence to make their research look more impressive. A sad sad case. Is this an example of your academic superior-ness?

Mann does not chair and has never chaired the meteorology department. Since 2005 he has been the director of the university's interdepartmental Earth System Science Center. If anyone doctored the evidence, it was Mann, not the university. Anyway, he was investigated and found not to have doctored his data.
The word is "superiority".

Well, it does diminish the academic reputation of a conference to have its newest member tossed out of the AAU.

Before you begin hurling rocks in other peoples yards perhaps you should look around in your own. Every university has their issues and UNL is certainly not without theirs but neither is PSU. Your ongoing pettiness toward UNL diminishes your respectability.
