I think Fenerbahce can be really good but there are things going against them: They just haven't played with their formation very long.
They also have probably the toughest road to the Finals because they play Rabita Baku in the QF and then potentially Dinamo Kazan in the SF (unless Vakifbank gets in the Final 4, then they meet Fener in the SF).
I would consider the upper bracket (Rabita-Fener, Kazan-Azzerail) more difficult than the other half (Vakifbank-RC Cannes, Cortese-Bergamo). I wouldn't be surprised to see RC Cannes in the finals.

Foppa is #4 and Cortese #2 in Italian League.
This is bad for Cortese going into Champions League next week. Foppa defeated them twice in one week with 3-0 and 3-2 matches. Foppa is getting stronger and knows now that they can beat Cortese. Berg's team is vunerable.

Watched the Italian Cup final with Carli Lloyd's team winning. She looks very solid, although kind of short. One of her middles towers over everyone and is very agile, to boot. You can see a nice little flip up to Foluke or Danielle would be dynamite for Team USA.

Didn't see the match, but I imagine the middle you mentioned has to be Christina Bauer - she's in the 6'5"-6'6" range, and can play. |

I completely forgot about her. I didn't realize she was still playing. Anyone know why she hasn't been playing with the national team?
