Well a senior libero just makes sense if you have one, especially one with experience. I think Caldwell is underrated, and was underrated last year amongst the 'stars'. Not flashy, just a key player. LBS started Tyler Caldwell at libero, their go-to libero last year and he delivered a lot of key digs.

Tyler is not the passer that Dusty is. Tyler does play better defense though. I am sure Alan was just trying to mix things up a bit and it worked.
GO BEACH!!!!

congrats to "golddigger" and "vbparasite" for correctly guessing Long Beach would win the match. "vbparasite" got full points for also guessing the correct number of games. Nice job by Long Beach. With the loss they had to UCSD and UCLA dominance over CSUN and UCSB, I really did not see this one coming . . . Thanks Rocky - my Long Beach pick was a complete guess. As a Pacific follower, I'm confident almost any MPSF team can beat any other on a given day....

Paul George is not a great all round player. He can't pass well. At all. He has a great serve, he seems to be a good leader, he is a good hitter, but his blocking is not that good, and like I said his passing... is bad for an outside. To be a great all round player, you got to be atleast a good passer. George is hitting good numbers though and that counts for the post-season awards... He is probably the most important player for the bruins and playing a good season.
