"When the match ended, a Long Beach State player grabbed his testicles and gestured toward the UCLA faithful."
I wonder if this is the same player that flicked off the Hawaii crowd last year?

Classy Long beach, really classy. The gesture the player made was ridiculous. It is early in the season Beach, relax you're not that good, just really lucky. You are a team that lacks class as well as character, grow-up!

Hey man... The actions of one person on the team do not necessarily reflect the rest of the team...
There will always be overzealous athletes...
And yes, we know the season is still early...
GO BEACH!!!

I, for one, still remember the antics of a couple of the Hawaii players during and after the match in the Pyramid two years ago. People in glass houses, UH fans, shouldn't throw stones!

Hawaii fans don't live in GLASS houses, we live in GRASS houses, and we don't throw stones, we throw Coconuts and pineapples . What's up with guys grabbing their crotches anyway ?, must be Michael Jackson fans. Is vbanony a Hawaii fan ? How dare Roy start trouble with his link to the article .

What happened last night with the Long Beach and their antics toward UCLA has absolutely nothing to do with Hawaii. Take responsibility Beach you are ridiculous, immature and out of control!

Wasn't at the match, but at least we got a win against the Ruins. How do you know The Beach is not good? I think they were good enough to beat the Ruins.

Bad attitudes are something nobody likes. I, for one, hated Dejan just because of his on court demeanor. That is the same reason I feel like Costas ain't no Yuval Katz. Idiots are idiots no matter what jersey they wear. I have to agree that the occasionnal embarassing player shouldn't reflect the program. On the other hand, if year in year out players act like idiots, I think the program deserves it.

Most players today, play with a lot of passion to win. In the heat and joy of competition some players do things every now and then that may offend many. You have to remember that many players are in their late teens to mid 20s. There are players who some times cant control their emotions of winning and keep it to themselves. Its almost the same thing when players cry when they lose. Its a sudden rush of emotion. It happens in every sport, and shouldnt be looked upon as a bad thing toward that schools program in a whole.

yes but these ARE people in their late teens to early twenties. they're not children. this kind of behavior is not acceptable at all. these players are representing their colleges and universities, and need to be held to a higher standard than the normal student. this applies to all players, regardless of the sport, or the team (even if he or she goes to hawaii, as warriors are NOT exempt from my rule).

I was at the game at Pauley the other night and must have been looking away when the evil deed was done
I must agree that it was a single classess act on behalf of the individual who did it. Don't lump the rest of the team as "out of control". I have observed through the years, players from every college who have done the same or worse classless behavior towards opposing teams. I do not lump their entire programs in with the individual who acts like an idiot.
