ucantBSme needs to get a life. if they were pathetic, they would have lost to bad teams. they beat my mastodons at ipfw and at home. last i checked, ipfw was in the final four last year. they killed loyola, last i checked, top 15. they play penn state next week, maybe after that game, you can talk, till then, keep your mouth shut. knowone cares what you have to say. they are still dominating without one of their best players, so shut your mouth

Hey, "thehammer18" It's not hard to "dominate" when you are playing against The School for the Blind, The Academy of Arts and Science, and Jerry's Kids! Are you serious? ha ha ha. Give me a break dude. Is Ohio State's team any good this year??? I DON'T KNOW! Nobody knows, because their schedule is so PATHETIC. That is my whole point. Against some REAL teams, my guess is Ohio State is average at best. That will be proven at the Final Four when they get dismantled in the semis by ANY MPSF TEAM they happen to face.
Awful, just awful!!!

IF THEY MAKE IT to the Final Four, they are going to get DESTROYED IN 3 GAMES!!! They are not even going to know how to react to a higher level of play, tougher serving, bigger/better blocking, MUCH BETTER DEFENSE, and much more physical play all around. Their coaching staff has totally set them up for major FAILURE by scheduling so weak.
You'll see.
Awful, just AWFUL

With the NCAA championships being played at Ohio State, it is very surprising that all the contenders from the west coast like UCLA, Irvine, Pepperdine and UCSB are not playing a regular season match with Ohio State in St. John Arena. I have never met a coach that wants to be playing an NCAA match in a venue that that their team has never played in before, but that is going to happen this year since no school from the MPSF elected to leave the coast to come to Buckeye country.

UM.....MODERATOR, MODERATOR.... "thehammer18" is getting very vicious and using foul language in his posts. ![:o](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/shocked.png) Frankly, I think it's disgraceful, and I hope you will put a stop to it. ;D ;D ;D Poor, poor "hammer". ![:'(](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/cry.png) Anyone who knows ANYTHING about men's volleyball knows that in pre-season matches, coaches don't play their full starting line ups. Teams don't really care about the outcome of those pre-season events and they are just for practice, so coaches try new players, line ups, game strategies. I would venture to say that if OSU's coaching staff had had the guts to schedule a game against Irvine during the REGULAR SEASON, OSU wouldn't score more than 20 pts in any game on their way to a 0-3 loss, which is EXACTLY what is going to happen to them at the Final Four should they be lucky enough to come out of the WEAK MIVA conference. And I would be HAPPY to watch OSU play if they actually played anyone worth watching. ;D ;D ;D Moderator....I'm very offended at the language being used by "hammer" and I may need to get some counseling to boost my self esteem now. ![:(](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/sad.png) Should I send you the bill from my therapist?

I don't know "hammer".....I'm afraid you might try to beat me up if I met you in person. What guarantee do I have that you aren't trying to set me up to meet you and then you are going to have a bunch of your buddies there with you to jump me? I mean the idea of meeting you for a "date" sounds really nice. I could even bring some cheese and crackers and a nice bottle of wine or something, but I am a little concerned for my safety.

first of all, there is no date and im not going to beat you up. i simply want you to sit down and watch an osu match. that way, you can see that they arnt bad. they wont win the title, i understand that, but they arnt terrible. im actually a nice guy and i just want you to get your facts before you talk. if you come and they lose badly in 3, then i wont post on this again. put your money where your mouth is or just have some respect for the buckeyes.

My "lack of respect" for the Bucks has NOTHING to do with the guys on the team or their potential as volleyball players. My "lack of respect" is directed at THE PROGRAM and the Coaching staff for putting together THE WEAKEST SCHEDULE OF ANY D1 TEAM IN THE COUNTRY. There is no excuse for the schedule they put together. They have plenty of money to go where ever they want or to give money to any TOP teams to come to them and entice them into St. John's. BOTTOM LINE IS, they sand bagged this season on purpose in the hopes of just playing things really safe and making sure they GET IN THE FINAL FOUR at home. Another thought may be that IF BY SOME CHANCE they choke in the MIVA Final and they have a record of 25-2 at that point that MAYBE the NCAA committee will choose them as the "at large" team since they are hosting the tournament and the committee does take the "gate" into consideration when they pick the "at large" team. HOWEVER....IF OSU had played several MPSF teams this season and LOST and put there guys to the test during the REGULAR season, then they would lose ANY HOPES of getting the "at large" bid. You see my point there bud? My lack of respect is aimed at THE PROGRAM which is a direct reflexion of THE COACHING STAFF!! They are weak and their program doesn't deserve any respect until they prove what they can do. I saw Penn State play out here a few weeks back. They aren't too bad. They would be an average MPSF team and be middle of the pack if they played out here in this conference. How the Bucks do against PSU next week doesn't prove anything. I'm still telling you, that THANKS TO THE OSU COACHING STAFF AND THE WEAK SCHEDULE THEY PUT TOGETHER FOR THEIR TEAM, OSU is going to get BLOWN OUT if they make it to the Final Four. And it won't be THEIR FAULT. It will be THE COACHES FAULT for not preparing their team for that level of play. Do you understand what I'm saying?? So no "date" eh??? ![:'(](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/cry.png)
