Isn't Hooker rumored to have an offer from Rabita? Not that I have heard of. Is Mammadova coming back? The team expects Mammadova to stay but nothing confirmed yet. |

I think it's a good opportunity for Foluke. The league match play won't be as intense as in Italy but she'll get her first taste of the Champions League and Zhukova is a very good setter.

I was surprised she went to Brazil in the first place but following her fiasco with Pesaro last year, Euro teams were hesitant to sign her. Maybe Hooker can stay in Brazil in another team. From what I've seen, her over-the-top point celebrations fit right in and they don't look like they mind her personality or off-court antics. |

I like Rabita. I'm just waiting to see who the receivers (and coach) will be for next season. If Osmokrovic leaves, it will be a big loss for them. She's not the same player as she was 3-5 years ago but she's still a stabilizing force. |

From inside-volley: Sollys Nestle (Osasco) roster for next season: Fabíola, Jaqueline, Thaísa, Adenízia and Camila Brait are staying and Sheilla was hired to replace Hooker Why would they want to replace Hooker?  According to Superliga fans at inside-volley, Hooker wanted to stay but asked for a raise. Osasco didn't agree and went out and got Sheilla instead. There maybe was a chance of Hooker staying on as an outside hitter but Osasco had renewed earlier with Jaqueline and now has signed Fernanda Garay (not yet announced officially), so let's see where Hooker plays next season. |

Osasco didn't agree that she deserved a raise? That's funny. Deserving a raise also depends on how much one is currently making. And they could have thought she deserved a raise, just not as large of one as she asked for. I would be shocked if she went back to Italy and the big Turkish teams appear to be set for foreigners, so I'm guessing she'll end up in Unilever or Azerbaidzhan |
