I'm really thinking it is Kastl....hope we find out soon.
Anybody from the Pac12 care to comment on her? Don't know much about her. Can't imagine Dave taking in a one year player unless she could really help us that one year.

What about Tabi Love? Probably not. I doubt she would leave a national championship team, however, wasn't Hawaii one of her top choices before she chose MN? Not sure what the rules are about a 2nd transfer though. Why in the world would Love transfer from UCLA? She got playing time and was part of a fantastic experience. And there is no way UCLA would agree to release her to Hawaii. On the topic of FF. I heard she had more than enough ability to get decent grades at USC. The issue was always motivation and focus. There is plenty of academic resources for athletes at USC but the athlete has to want it. My guess is if FF didn't complete her classes at USC and didn't take a heavy credit load at Hawaii she would have trouble catching up to be eligible. If she plays for Hawaii I automatically put them top four in the country. With Uiato setting that would be big trouble for any opponent. What a waste of talent if FF can't put it all together.

I agree...no way it's Tabi. Regards to FF, she just had to take enough classes to get her to be sophomore academic status by fall. That means two semesters of full time student status, right? Which she could have gotten this past year at UH. It's not like she had to make up lossed credits AND get additional credits while at UH. If I'm not mistaken anyway. I'm sure I'll be corrected if I'm wrong, but that is how I always saw her situation to be this past year at UH. Just pass two full time semesters and you are eligible as a sophomore for the fall.

First of all, I said it probably wasn't her. Although the thought crossed my mind. Yes, she got to play at UCLA. She also played a lot at MN. You say she had a fantastic experience. At MN she played in the national semis, but for whatever reason was not happy. Transfers happen for various reasons, playing time, coaching change, team dynamics, location, or school not having your major. So you just never know what motivates a kid to transfer unless you know her personally. Anyway, we are all speculating here. Someone stated that it was an OH transferring from west of the Rockies to HI. I thought of Love because I know Hawaii was a school that she visited and looked at closely before chosing MN. Would I wager any money on it? Absoultely NOT.

Maybe, just maybe it's the "official" word that FF will officially be joining the team. Speculation surrounded this transfer, but nothing official came from the coaching staff or the university of Falyn playing volleyball at Hawaii. Now, maybe this is the announcement that officially makes Falyn a transfer volleyball player that will play for the Wahine.

They wouldn't be able to announce that until she reaches full Sophomore year requirements. It would be nice to officially hear about her coming but sadly we have to wait.

Its ashley kastl from ASU Is this what you believe, hope or know for sure? Haven`t heard any official announcements made yet. For fame & glory I did seek, Away to the Fair on fleeting feet, For my destiny I was sure to meet, from The light of these castle halls. For my journey, it was long, Silver and gold, I received for song, Yet for my friends, I did long, In the light of these castle halls. And so, now I come, With happy heart and happy song, Again, I'm here where I belong, In the light of these castle halls...

I haven't seen any announcement, but I've been hearing Kastl to Hawaii through the grapevine for awhile now. That doesn't make it a lock, of course, but it's not just a rumor either.

Big loss for ASU. Not that familiar with Hawaii's situation at OH, but this girl is good.

Big loss for ASU. Not that familiar with Hawaii's situation at OH, but this girl is good. here's the situation summed up in one sentence. with the loss of danielson, we basically lost the best player we had on both offense and defense.
