I get serious second hand embarrassment from reading your posts. You make a fool out of yourself all the time. And thats fine. But the fact is anything can happen. Haggertys name was mentioned by another poster on this thread, So I said it was a possibility. Everything ive stated is possible, but I even said this in my original post, its probably not going to happen. BTW, your obsession to quote me constantly, and say how wrong I am, or how stupid I am is pretty creepy. You're an idiot.

But you Obviously don't understand that until a school puts their 2014 roster up, that any player is a possibility of a transfer.

With the addition of Magill, come 2015 she could just as well be the shortest player on the court amongst the Outside Hitters and Middle Blockers. Taylor 6'4, Greeley 6'3, Castillo 6'3, Maglio 6'3, Huff 6'4, and quite possibly Mitchem 6'3. When was the last time Shoji had height like that.

Granato Comes in and she's 6'0 and passi who's 5'10 I believe. But it will defanitely be a huge lineup for the wahine

I've searched her stats, and they weren't anything to brag about, so I have to ask....Is she the "big time" transfer Shoji was quoted in saying? Is there another to come?

Hope she turns into a Bown/Prince caliber MB transfer. She reminds me of Chisom Ogpala of LBS in terms of build and athleticism (from what I've seen). If she can be at least of Ogpala's presence, then she'll do just fine.

You can watch Magill to your heart's content on youtube. Arizona vs. Hawaii 2013. She gets the second point in the match. The first point was Hartong's.

Magill might not put up "big time" numbers but she is probably the type that Dave Shoji loves. She is athletic and can jump. I predict she will excel. UH vs Arizona this past season she outplayed Jade. Magill hit .357 with 6 kills and 4 block assist. Jade had 7 kills but hit only .333 and was only in on one block assist. I like the tradeoff.

I think you're right. With Shoji's ability to develop , I am looking forward to seeing how she develops over the next two years.

Huff is 6-3 Greeley is 6-2 Maglio is 6-2 Taylor is 6-4 Castillo is 6-2 I've seen all of these girl in person including Castillo and Maglio in Las Vegas. They're all 6-2 with the exception of Nikki Taylor who is 6-4 and Huff at 6-3. And no this is not the first time Hawaii had a physical imposing team, the last time was 1998/1999. At one rotation Hawaii could put up 6-3 and 6-2 across the net with Heather Bown, Veronica Lima, Jennifer Roberts, Jessica Sudduth, etc. And also in 2000 with Lima, Sudduth, Kahumoku, Gustin, Carey, etc.

Shoji was overreaching when he called her "big time." She's good, though and under his coaching, has the potential to have the same impact as Victoria Prince.

There's no guarantee that all those will be on the court. Lots of tall players in UH's roster have played behind smaller starters: 6-4 Alexis Forsythe behind 6-0 Amber Kaufman and 6-2 Emily Hartong; all the taller players behind the likes of Kanani Danielson, Nohea Tano, Lauren Duggins, Victoria Prince, etc.

Magill's great, but to be honest, it probably was not that difficult to outplay Vorster. Vorster's strength was her unconventional way of hitting the ball - as if she just accidentally whiffed it. She wasn't that versatile and for someone who's 6-4, wasn't that great a blocker. The last time UH middles actually put up blocking numbers that were expected because of their height were during the Kari Gregory and Brittany Hewitt era.

The middles are going to be more involved in the offensive starting from this Fall. With decent passing Tayler Higgins has the feel for setting the middles from what I've seen following her throughout her high school and club career. She just needs to work more on her locations on the back set for the slide. Olivia Magill and Kalei Adolpho with more sets will take a lot of pressure off the outside hitters.
