Sweet Sara Shaw, Olgard, Fuller, and the great Hagglund are the keys for another FF. Bricio is like a Keao Burdine with this group, but the question is will she show up?

show me where southern cal is referenced in all these papers. espn.go.com/espnw/college-sports/8293482/ncaa-women-volleyball-five-burning-questions-2012-seasonSouthern Cal lost standouts Alex Jupiter at outside hitter, Kendall Bateman at setter and Lauren Williams at middle blocker, so the Trojans have some growing to do. But coach Mick Haley has been pleased with his younger players and said he believes his team is physical and athletic. And Bateman is still around as a graduate student working with the team.

USC sports media and information has been asking for years for the media not to refer them as Southern Cal. They prefer to be addressed as USC, Southern California or So Cal.

USC and Southern Cal are still used interchangeably in my neck of the woods, and calling where I live "USC-centric" would be an understatement (Mick lives here, Carroll still has a house here, and Kiffin moved in not too long ago. Ugh)
Although, I think the most common usage locally is simply "SC." Except in our home, where "spoiled brats" tends to get more play.
