Hey Smokedogg, how about giving us the lowdown on what to expect from the Titans? Graduated Seniors, stud hitters, back row talent, setting, incoming freshmen, etc. Maybe even a prediction for their finish in the BW?

The returning starters and should start this year are: 3 Best, Leah MB 6-6 Sr. 6 Consani, Julie S 5-11 Jr. 11 Crenshaw, Holland MB 6-3 So. 22 Moreland, Bree OH 5-11 Sr. The new rt side will be Alyse Hensley 6-3 Sr. transfer from Arizona. The other two positions will be, will be, ...? I think Fullerton will be in every match! They are not superior to the other teams but will win most of their games. It is nice to have everyone overlook Fullerton.

I would guess that the Arizona transfer opposite may see the court. Are any of the incoming freshmen likely to get significant playing time? There must be at least five or six incoming players to fill up the roster. Your list suggests that there may be room on the left side; you guys are going to miss Neto's production. Who's likely to be the other OH? I didn't see a libero/DS on your list. With Dewberry graduated, will Ulmer take over at that position? Irvine also graduated a very good libero, and they'll be in a similar situation.

Maybe Devan Ulmer will start at libero. Only time will tell. As far as the other outside it will be between two freshman and two Seniors. I would think the Senior transfer from Boise State would have the best shot. Only time will tell. Fullerton never gets the Fab 100 player like some of the other Big West teams. However, I believe, the coaches are very good at developing and blending talent (Big West Champs not long ago). An example of the coaches abilities to develop players is Leah Best. None of the other teams fans would think of Leah as an all league player. She will be, but again, only time will tell.

To me when a coach is praising a recruit's work ethic, intangibles and room for improvement that translates to players who are going to be projects. It's far apart from praising a star recruit's athleticism or talent and predicting she is going to make an immediate impact on the team.
However it's very nice to see Cal Poly recruiting in players from out of state.
