Updated 2010: Julie Mikaelsen (redshirt in 2013), Dom Thompson (redshirt in 2012) 2011: Courtney Thomas, Deme Morales, Ellen Chapman, Crystal Graff 2012: Taylor Morey (will be a sophomore for the Badgers in 2013) 2013: Lauren Carlini, Taylor Fricano, Haleigh Nelson and Tori Blake 2014 Kelly Bates (5'10 OH) 2015 Julia Saunders (6'4 OH), Brooke Morgan (6'5 MB), Hannah Juley (5'11 S), Tionna Williams (6'2 OH/MB)This leaves upwards of 5 3 2, scholarships available for 2015. I know it's pretty speculative, but what does anyone know about the 2015 class so far? Anyone seen them play club or HS?

This is going to be a definite top 5 class for 2015. Still have 2 scholarships available, although coach may save one for 2016,

Let's build this a different way. Of course with redshirts, transfers, injuries, dropouts, it won't end this way, but I thought I would put the grid out there anyway:

2015: Taylor Morey (2015), Lauren Carlini (2016), Haleigh Nelson (2016), Tori Blake (2016),Taylor Fricano (2017), Kelly Bates (2017, 5'10 OH), Julia Saunders (2018, 6'4 OH), Brooke Morgan (2018, 6'5 MB), Hannah Juley (2018, 5'11 S), Tionna Williams (2018, 6'2 OH/MB) {10}
2016: Lauren Carlini (2016), Haleigh Nelson (2016), Tori Blake (2016), Taylor Fricano (2017), Kelly Bates (2017), Julia Saunders (2018), Brooke Morgan (2018), Hannah Juley (2018), Tionna Williams (2018) {9}
2017: Taylor Fricano (2017), Kelly Bates (2017), Julia Saunders (2018), Brooke Morgan (2018), Hannah Juley (2018), Tionna Williams (2018) {6}

What do people know about Tionna Williams? I found one article that said she's one of the top recruits in the nation...but I can't find any more information on her. I'm wondering if that article was correct...is she really that good? I've read and heard good things about Julia Saunders, Brooke Morgan and Juley...
I'm excited to see the development of this badger team with the new coach and, with, Carlini...

She's been racking up the local awards as a junior and will be a contender for Indiana's Gatorade POY next year. Plays for Munciana. Was an Asics All-American this year. Has led her HS team to state. Was also looking at Nebraska and Florida. www.fortwayne.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20131211/SPORTS/320108737/1012/SPORTS06

By her tweets, if that is any indication, she looks like she will have the disposition of Mitchell, Thomas or Morales, which will be great.
Is it spring scrimmage yet?

There is at least one spot open for 2015. If you are a top recruit, don't wait, call Kelly Sheffield and reserve it now! I hope they host a spring tournament open to the public and have more players available. That would be interesting to watch to see what their thought process for next season may be.

I have no inside information, but I would be surprised if Bates is a scholarship player. I am sure she has one. She is a good hitter. She wouldn't have made a commitment to Dayton without a scholarship offer. Since he left and she followed, I am sure Shef made her another offer since she was his original recruit. Or do you think she said she would pay for college herself and follow this coach instead of keeping a full ride??

Will Fricano be a contender on the outside next year? Is she that good?
