In what situation would you put money on Todd/Ryan at this point? Two losses in two weeks to qualifiers. Has that ever happened to a player once that good. Wouldn't most of us bet on Hovie/Dodd at age 50 to take a game off Casebeer/McGuire

I know Jeremy and Andy well - they're good players, but geez - McGuire is 5'2"* Doherty/Rogers simply can't lose matches like that.
*A slight exaggeration.

Really interesting to me how long partnerships hang on these days even with disappointing finishes. Back in the days, Rogers-Doherty wouldn't have lasted past 2-3 tournaments. Assume it is sponsorships and point issues that keep them together.

Why is Rogers still playing? I am just shocked that the queen of whining and moping can keep taking these beatdowns week after week. I guess credit to him for not just up and out quitting......guess he's not so much of a "Professor" anymore. Love that he's just getting his sh#@ kicked in...

Maybe it's for the same reason all those qualifier neverwills keep entering, week after week, knowing they'll never reach the Emerald City of a main draw.....because they love the game. Not the money, not the glory of excelling in a minor sport, but the simple love of it.
Maybe it's that, and maybe we should let a player -- even a great one -- decide for himself when to say goodbye.

True, I agree. It's hard for me not to go off on Rogey but I do respect everything he has achieved.
