This one is great. Include salary requirements. I would put down 30-70,000. Let them narrow it down from there. They want people to hang themselves it seems.

Word from somebody who turned this position down, was that this is currently being treated as an "interim assistant" position, with no guarantee of being carried over past the competition season.

Cumberland University (NAIA) in Lebanon, TN is still accepting resumes for a graduate assistant position with the volleyball program. Some graduate programs include Master of Arts in Education, Master of Arts in Teaching, Master of Education in Instructional Leadership, Master of Science in Sport and Exercise Pedagogy, Master of Science in Public Service Management, MBA and Master of Fine Arts. Lebanon is located 25 minutes east of Nashville. The GA position includes full tuition stipend, room/board and a full meal plan. There isn't really much to complain about with an August hire no matter who it is. The music has stopped. Everyone just needs a chair, or someone to fill a chair. The only thing you can say is "why didn't they do something sooner?" but even then, most of the jobs hiring now tried to go sooner but either they lost their candidate or HR got in the way.

Tristan was a student assistant at Blinn under the current head coach a couple of years ago. He may be young but the coach knew what he was getting with two more years experience at a Division 1 up and coming SEC program. I have worked with Tristan in the past, nothing but good things to say about him. For someone who didn't play the game, he has a good knowledge of the game at his age. Without knowing for sure the head coach may not have waited until the last minute but rather waited until now to make it official.
