No offense to the player but I saw Iowa State play many times last season and she was just okay, not sure most of the coaches care. No offense?? If you did not want to be offensive you would never have posted this. You obviously have an agenda I have never seen this player, but since when does it imply an "agenda" to express an opinion that you thought someone was an ok but not fabulous setter, and that you doubt all the rest of the college coaches are gnashing their teeth in despair that they missed getting her….. That's how I read fetchin's statement. |

All I know is my daughter played in the Big West and I happened to see Johnson play up at Cal Poly and she brought that team back from a large point deficit. She appeared good enough to me.

I think Johnson is good enough to challenge for the starting position at Tennessee, and I think there will be a real shootout between Hudson and Juley at LB. It will be very interesting to see how they both turn out.

I was talking about "Christoph562"'s comment where he said Johnson wasn't really good to start at Long Beach. Like I said, I only saw her play up at Cal Poly (not sure if she played in other games last season), but she was good and did better than their "starter" that night. I think Johnson was only a freshman too, so definite potential.

Well as a freshman, Janelle started every match, I understand, so that says something about her talent....I guess because LBS now has her that the bashers are alive and well, eh?

Erin has only one good leg...you obviously did not see her play this past season...she was horrible and couldn't set a consistently hittable ball to save her soul....great kid, great work ethic, but the wheels are gone and there no surgery or miracle cure for what ails her, period...she will not be the starting setter at LBS this coming year...bet on it! |
