I seriously thought UCLA would have attempted to get Michelle Lawrence.

I seriously thought UCLA would have attempted to get Michelle Lawrence. Where is she headed? She had a very good freshman year.

So is Magill the "player to be named later" in the Croson trade? Hawaii won that trade IMO. Magill has lots of potential. me-thinks Shoji will make her fulfill it.

No longer on the 2014 roster with 1 year of eligibility left, Michelle Waber, San Diego St. Waber will transfer to Cal Baptist to get her masters and play her last season.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that she will end up at a school with a sand volleyball program in SoCal. I hope she decides on UCLA.

Won't Waber be required to sit out one year since she has already used her one time transfer?

I don't think that you're required to sit a year when you drop to D2.

Won't Waber be required to sit out one year since she has already used her one time transfer? The NCAA does allow it if you change schools after graduating if your previous school does not have the degree program you want.

Mikaela Gunderson transferring from UW-Green Bay to Iowa. Following Coach Franklin. Sorry if this is repeat info but didn't see it on this thread.

Mikaela Gunderson transferring from UW-Green Bay to Iowa. Following Coach Franklin. Sorry if this is repeat info but didn't see it on this thread. Where is Iowa getting the scholarships for these players? I am wondering the same and posted similar question on the Iowa/Shymansky Era thread. My guesses: I think a scholarship must have opened up for them to offer to Taylin Alm. Wondering if maybe current player left the team for that to happen? Noticed a DS who was Freshman last year (Gajcak) who didn't play much isn't on roster now and she might have had scholarship? Not sure. As for Gunderson transferring, only a guess but maybe choosing to forego scholarship to follow her coach, play for Shymansky and compete in B1G? Have seen that before with players leaving smaller programs for larger ones. But just completely speculating with all of this.
