I would also argue that Sybel [d]on was their best middle last year so I don't know why you'd move her to the right. Has she ever even played there? She was an outside hitter her sophomore year at Vista del Lago HS. See: www.folsomtelegraph.com/article/vista-pulls-out-win-over-capital-christianThat said, I do agree it is unlikely that she'll move to the outside. Jones is more likely.

Any news or rumors on 2015/2016 UW recruit(s). There aren't really any glaring needs or playing opportunities in 2015, but there will be in 2016, especially at MB. I expect JMac will return to keeping one scholarship in his pocket for a possible transfer. 2015 depth (* = walk-on):
Sr: Strickland (L), Beals (S), Sybeldon (MB), Wade (MB) Jr: None RSo: Tanner (S/OPP), DeHoog (OPP), Finau* (S) So: Scambray (OH), Jones (MB/OH/OPP?), Schwan (OH), Meyer-Whalley* (L)
2016 looks to be the next big recruiting year for UW, with four scholarship players graduating.

I think UW had their elite camp last week, seeing who came is probably good to see who's interested.

Hasn't Destiny Julye (2015) committed to UW? She was previously committed to UCLA for a little bit.

She looks like a talented player. The logjam lessens with Vansant and Nelson graduating. If Tanner plays OPP/S and Jones MB, she'd be one of three OHs. She could also redshirt.

Do you consider it a positive UW would have 4 scholarships with the senior class graduating, or do you prefer the experience?

What day do they report? The first match is not until the 29th (permissible reporting day is based on a strange formula involving date of first match or start of class [obviously does NOT apply to UW], number of practices each day and I think the phase of the moon when your assistant coach was born) so I am guessing August 11th this year. With FIVB 19- only running until the 3rd she would have plenty of time to get back. If they report the 4th or 5th (which would be SUPER early) then yes she might have a problem.

and I think the phase of the moon when your assistant coach was born Didn't exactly LOL, but I certainly smiled at that one. Are you a computer/engineering type person? When computers were young, people used to say that unrepeatable and mysterious errors were caused by the phase of the moon. Of course hackers ended up writing a routine to calculate the POM, so it became possible to literally write code that behaved differently depending on the phase of the moon. The linux manpage for the pom command says:

Are you a computer/engineering type person? Yes. I graduated in 1981 with a ComSci degree from Iowa State. I have run an international computer software firm for the last 24 years.
