Chrissy Jones has discussed her beach schedule with Jim, and there aren't any issues with it from his end. She'll be in camp with time to spare.

i got to see crissy play as a soph, junior and senior.
she made dramatic improvements each year, cuz her coordination was still maturing
as a soph, she was a somewhat immobile middle blocker, who could make straight down kills. although she was important to the team, cuz los al was short that year. when crissy went out, they really looked short.
as a junior, she became more mobile, doing some outside kills.
but she really surprised me as a senior. she was actually making athletic outside kills. but the most surprising thing to me was that she was doing quite well in the backcourt, moving like a much shorter player.

Hey Huskies fans....I am going to be in Seattle the weekend UW plays Wisky and would like to go watch the game. Is there a way or how hard/easy it to get to campus on public transit? or should I just get a car to head that way? thanks!

If so, you can take bus no. 43 (towards University District) e.g., on 4th Ave and Pike Street. It will take you very close to the Alaska Airlines Arena

Hey Huskies fans....I am going to be in Seattle the weekend UW plays Wisky and would like to go watch the game. Is there a way or how hard/easy it to get to campus on public transit? or should I just get a car to head that way? thanks! It's usually very easy to get to CAMPUS from pretty much anywhere in the city. The issue is that Hec Ed (venue) is in the far corner of campus that isn't directly served by many bus lines. Many buses (like the 70's) stop in the U District which is on the west side of campus (15 or so minute walk).... a few stop on campus (look for the term "HUB" on stops), just a short walk down some stairs. Right before I left, King county Metro was having funding and spending problem and tried to goad all the car drivers to subsidize even more costs for the riders (didn't end in favor of metro, thankfully) and lots of routes and things have changed so you probably want to go to the king county metro site and plug in your destinations. just be warned that any bus that stops on roosevelt, University Ave, or 15th, is a solid 15 minute walk to Hec Ed. Also, if you are busing it, and don't mind relying on public transportation all night, after the match do yourself a favor and catch the 44 (the stop is by the Hospital (very close to Hec Ed) to Ballard for late night food and drinks. There are a few buses that run late into the night from Ballard back to downtown (assuming you are staying there), notably the D line. On a friday night do yourself a favor and avoid places like Capital Hill, Belltown, and Fremont like the plague. Also do yourself a favor and if you plan on taking any private modes of transportation (Taxi, Uber, Lift etc.) after a night out in a destination spot, do it at about 12:30-1....don't wait until the bars get out, otherwise you will be disappointed. Oh, also, if you are going to pike place market for the tourist thing, do yourself a favor and go in the morning before the lunch rush monday-thursday, otherwise you will be disappointed. (Ah, home...the bay area just isn't the same )

If you could wait a year or so, they are building a light rail stop right next to Hec Ed.

By the way, there are many bus routes from downtown that stop at the "Montlake Freeway Station". The only thing you want to be careful of is that some of them are for commuting hours only.

ps. If you stay downtown, parking a car downtown is very expensive. But it would let you see more of the area outside of Seattle, if you intend to do that. I think I would prefer to not have a car if I were going to stay in town.

Any predictions on the starting lineup?
My mind is/was telling me Vansant, Sybeldon, Nelson, Strickland, and Katy Beals, with the 6th player up for grabs. Do you guys believe a 6-2 is no doubt what we will play?
