2015 is plenty of time to recover from an ACL.

Of the three (Condie, Finau, Magraw) Finau would be the one to get the scholarship as I think she and Beals will be setting in a 6-2.

Certainly a possibility, although my money is still on Tanner starting as an OPP/S. Of the three, Condie might have the best chance of playing (as a DS sub for Nelson at OH2?).

Do we already know which teams only face each other once in the Pac this year?
Last year, for the first time in 7 years we didn't make our usual trip down the Oregon coast and then over to watch matches in Corvallis and Eugene. Too much driving for one match.

We skipped the Arizona schools in 2012, so it'll be Colorado/Utah, L.A., or Bay Area schools...

I like what I've seen out of Beals. Big loss that Nogueras graduates, so we'll need a second setter to step in and step up.

1st priority for Finau is to get rid of some 30 pounds!!! You might think so by looking at her, but during the warmup scrimmages she had no more trouble getting to the ball than did anyone else. She seemed to have a real nice touch in the warmups, and it seemed (to a layman) like her mass helped her stay solid while setting. It will be interesting to see her play (regardless of her body type) during the sand season. FWIW I enjoy that there is more than one body type who can play good volleyball. More power to her!

1st priority for Finau is to get rid of some 30 pounds!!! Aren't you a bit rude? I have heard great things about her and she obviously has the skill that are needed otherwise she wouldn't be on the team, if you have something pertinent to say about her skill level, feel free, otherwise keep your pointless comments to yourself. In other news, I am very excited to see how this team shapes up with the new additions and also with tanner and dehoog suiting up!!!

She has amazing hands and is quick. Jade was one of the two setters (Haley McDonald, WSU, was the other one) for my daughter's club team last year. As a result I got to see Jade play A LOT. Jade has very good hands but what always impressed me the most was how quickly she could get to the contact point and then it seemed like she could "slow down time" and set the ball at half speed. You would never think it to look at her but she is quick. Haley, on the other hand, I was always worried whether she would make it through the end of the match. I have never seen someone fling herself around the court like she does. I also could not figure out how she could set accurately while sliding across the court on her knee pads.

What ever happened to Katlyn Mataya from Skagit Valley? She would've been the next Orlandini! (JMac should've gone with it, instinctually)

How is Jade's passing ability? It would be nice to also possibly see her become a vocal leader on the team. Nogueras and Orlandini were in that role last year.
