MPSF was strong again this season. All the good teams took the 9 gimme matches and CSUN had a few upsets. Pepp was a very good team to lose too. Crabb had a terrific season but really needed more help at the end of the season. Knipe tried to find someone but it was too late. CSULB will be a contender again next season. Good luck to T Crabb I too will miss his sportsmanship and competitiveness.

They need to get Crabb in the USA gym ASAP. Folks in the other thread we're talking about competition at the libero position. Does Crabb have a shot at OH for USA? Or would he be better suited for Lib?

Long Beach St. picks up a solid OH from Huntington Beach, TJ DeFalco. If he can buy into Al's system he's going to be a monster.

long beach state showed moments of greatness for the past 3 years. very dissappointing to see such an early exit to such an exciting team. surely crabb will be missed but also ammerman, satterfield, ornee and especially connor olbright.
connor has been a treat to watch with his smooth delivery and deceptive decisions. next year will definitely be a struggle for lbsu with the loss of 5 starters.

I'd be curious to hear what he brought back to LBSU with him from his International experience. I kinda doubt anyone is re inventing the wheel in NCAA men's ball.

To be more accurate it would be more of DeFalco's transitioning, understanding and executing of the system from HS. You're right about the "re-inventing of the wheel". BTW, I confirmed that DeFalco is a JUNIOR this year so LB will have to wait another year. In addition, Defalco's HS setter, Josh Tuaniga who also is a Junior is also going to Long Beach. Has great athleticism, good hands and is strong on the block. He too could be a solid contributor for the 49ers.

They also grab the incredibly solid and athletic outside hitter Kyle Ensing from Legacy. Long Beach is gonna be set for a couple years.

I believe Kysen Olsen a 6'4 lefty opposite is committed for 2015-16 from Coast
