Congrats to the Cougars, Few people expected them to win, especially in a sweep, but they were impressive. It just wasn't meant to be for the Warriors, but kudos to the Warrior seniors who gave Hawai'i fans one hell of a ride. Win or lose, the Warriors will always be number 1 to us. It will be an interesting Final. The Waves are awesome, and the Cougars were equally impressive tonight. The MPSF finals should be a preview of the National finals. Well Crusin, you get to keep your Shirt, and I get to keep my grass skirt, enjoy the final bud .

Congrats to BYU!
Although the Warriors didn't win, I would like to say mahalo to the departing Seniors for making this season exciting and also for being a part of bringing UH's Men's volleyball program their first National title!

More than anything, I was quite disappointed to see Costas play so badly in his final match. Kudos to Ching for carrying the team through the match, but it turn out 5 guys are just too heavy.
Next year scares me. What is the deal with Thomas and Azenha serving into the net at crucial times?

Great season men of war, NOT !!! They played like crap when it mattered the most, im sorry but all you Hawaii fans make me ... Who cares how much wins they had or how good a season they had, they lost when it counted... Costas was bad tonight so was the predictable setting..now that byu setter is awesome, the best I have seen in a while... Congrats to BYU you proved you wanted it more...

Great season men of war, NOT !!! They played like crap when it mattered the most, im sorry but all you Hawaii fans make me ... Okay, now what do you want ALL the Hawaii Fans to do? Wait for them at the airport to beat them up? Boo them? What exactly?
Another thing, your statement "They played like crap when it mattered the most, im sorry but all you Hawaii fans make me .." pretty much states you are not a Hawaii Fan, since you seem to not have included yourself as one of those "all of you Hawaii fans" comment. With that stated, why are you so concern about UH men's volleyball team for when you aren't a Hawaii Fan for?

Kauai Boy is an idiot, and not a real Hawaii fan....He always bad mouths the UH players and staff, dont pay attention to him. Maybe he got cut or something by Mike Wilton? To everyone else......Its just another season, you cant expect Hawaii to win every time, nobody else does. I think SOME people here on a message board, for gods sake, take some things to seriously. UH had a good season, so did their womens vball team. UH will end up either 3 or 4 in the final rankings, UH women ended at 3. How many other schools can place thier men and womens team in the top 5?

I can understand him being bummed, but, to take it out on the fans for still appreciating the team even though they loss is just low class.

Great season men of war, NOT !!! They played like crap when it mattered the most, im sorry but all you Hawaii fans make me So basically, unless they win every big match and the National Championship at the end of the season, it can't be a good season. Man, you are one demanding fan. (Actually, it's pretty obvious that you're not really a fan of Hawaii, as others have pointed out). Hawaii had a very good season. For a program like Hawaii's, which is pretty much always very competitive, unless you win the Championship, it always ends with a tough loss.

the warriors beat your team three times this season, and I cant even remember the last time they lost to your tigers,
how are they the better team??

Pacific had 6 all conference players... Hawaii did not. Pacific had a better setter, a better libero, 1 better middle, and 1 better outside. Hawaii beat the tigers with the tigers being on the ROAD 3 times... w/ the tigers playing tough all 3 times. In stockton, or a neutral site, things would have been quite different. Any team will tell you that it is tough to come into hawaii w/ the time change, extreme fan turnout, and large facility. Pacific beat good teams all year, as did hawaii. It is my opinion that they are better.
They also had better coaching... both tactically and dancing.
