The argument that Naya cannot produce Bergsma-level production is a bit of a strawman. Of course nobody expects her too, as we wouldn't have expected it from Finley had she returned and stayed at the Opp.
I think Oregon's success this year will be predicated on how far Brenner and Benson take them. The 3 Frosh will also be asked to contribute I'm sure with the graduations and transfers, especially Scott.
Just from watching her YT videos, Scott looks like Plum 2.0. Offensive-minded and has a penchant for the flashy and difficult set. Moore certainly has a type of setter he likes right now.

Are you banking on Naya being Bergsma level this year? If she is then, Oregon will be fine. Wait, so are you saying Finley was Bergsma-level then? No, but Naya will need to be to make up for the losses in key spots. But with that said, if Naya can play good enough this year, Oregon might have a shot at making the tournament again.

Jim Moore makes sure he has who he wants in his program. Wow. That could set a trend in sports.

And apparently Crittendon already took her spot this spring (according to some previous poster).

If it shows up on Volleytalk, then it must be true!

Just watched some video of Scott and she looks really good. I'm super excited to see her come in. She had a great club season this year too and looked really good leading her team to 5th in Open at JOs (beating some stacked teams like Northern Lights, TStreet and Colo Jrs. along the way). She's really good, but also just a great fit for us:

If Naya did take the spot, then Canace could have easily moved back to MB where she seemed like she wanted to be in the first place.
