It makes sense since Penn State would probably prefer to not start two true freshmen at the left pin. I think it will be critical to get a set starting lineup much sooner than we expect.

They started two freshman lefts in 2010 and won a title. Regardless, it's just a picture from a scrimmage on day two of the season. Relax.

True which is why thought Courtney and Whitney would be switched. Do you think Courtney will be used as a passing OPP?

Many a line-up has been scrapped after a few weeks of reality (matches) Your initial line-up is based on assumptions, your ultimate line-up is based on reality.

Thank you for stating the obvious. We already knew that but we just don't know when the lineup will be fully determined. In some prior years it has gone on into the league matches before it was finally resolved. I would imagine that the determining factor may be how well Whitney performs since as an senior (RS JR) player she will get the first nod. Once the left pins are decided, then we quickly move on to the other factors. There is always the chance that an injury (God forbid) may force a Plan B lineup order. I don't think anyone can be sure how many players might be redshirted at this time. I have no inside information but Rose has history of preparing the team in a very logical scheme. Since he has been in this position before, he has proven to be one of the best coaches in the country.

Did a comment that just criticized someone else for "stating the obvious" just describe Rose as "one of the best coaches in the country?"

So what? The obvious comment was regarding Dorothy's post about assumptions and reality.

Dorothy, you are really something. You are so jealous of Coach Rose it is actually funny. Relax and accept that you did the best that you were capable of doing. It isn't your fault that things worked out the way they did. We still love you anyway.

Not sure if this has already been discussed or not, but per Rich Kern, Erica Denney has transferred to Denver to play next year.
