Robinson for Nebraska last year was a game changer. Paulina will make their bench deeper I believe but that's it. I said she was good. I just don't believe she's at that extremely high lvl skill in my opinion Paulina is great in the front but a little spastic in the back row. I think she will contribute and she just might be an it factor for the horns. Like I said she will have every opportunity to prove me wrong. We will see

Comming from Big, u would think she should put up good numbers. Big12 isn't that strong so I would think numbers would get inflated in the conference.

Texas was loaded before but I think bringing in Baker/Prieto will unload some of the pressure that was going to be placed on Eckerman's shoulders. And Baker redshirted, hence why she "rode the bench" and Prieto was playing behind Deja/Scott who have 7 All-American awards between the two of them. Texas was going to be great before, but adding in 2 former top 10 recruits on the pins makes them even more lethal. Did Baker have to redshirt for transfer rules or was she injured? If not, then that's the same thing as riding the bench. As for Prieto, sure she was lower in the depth chart, but if she was impactful enough to be on the floor, Russ would have had her at OH2, or ran a 6-2. I'm not saying these aren't quality players, nor do I think that Texas won't reach the final four, I just think it's interesting that the justification you gave was essentially that the Baker and Prieto will be unleashed onto the world like an unstoppable fire. Texas would be in my Final Four without those 2...that wasn't meant to be my justification for why they are a Final Four favorite. I was just noting that those 2 add in more firepower and helps shore up any weaknesses at the 2nd opposite/2nd outside position.

Saw her many times before PSU!!! and just on the PSU games she was in (not too many here). I think that is plenty of times.

Pelcj wants to argue with everyone. Don't worry about him. He always thinks he right. I've never heard him once say he's wrong

I think she's an upgrade for TX in the back row. Don't know about the incoming libero, who's been touted as fantastic. I just know that Cat is bad. Pilar and Amy provide little passing relief. We'll see what happens!

It's a chat I'm entitled to my opinion No one said you could not state your opinion. But you're speaking like you have facts. Saying she left because she thought the freshman would beat her out and that shes overrated. Is she overrated? Thats to be determined and you can think she is, but dont speak on why she left like you know what happened or her situation LOL.

Obviously it will largely depend on the brackets. I do find it interesting that you call Texas "loaded now" (when were they not?) and proceed to name players who have essentially rode the bench thus far. Texas still is "questionable" at setter. Potential to be awesome but must come through on the court.

I would pick Southern Cal, Stanford and Washington ALL TO MAKE THE FF..............but the NCAA will end up putting them in the same bracket. Southern Call and Washington BOTH were FF caliber teams last season but met in the Elite Eight. That was highest level of volleyball I saw last season. Thing of the tremendous Federer/Djocvich final at Wimbledon. Both teams played their hearts out. Same could be said about Penn State vs Stanford. Until the last 10 minutes of course. Awesome, high level match.
