Illini were up 21-11 but Purdue really starts serving hard and now at 22-17.

23-21. 9-2 run for Purdue. Tough serving and good block gets them back in it.

How does a badger's breath smell? [Note... I didn't ask how badgerbreath smells... that would be TMI.]

I dunno why but this match just doesn't seem very high level.

I dunno why but this match just doesn't seem very high level. Both sides really pressing. But uw and psu beat these two the way they played.

An incredible comeback from the Boilers... coming from 21-12 down to 24-23 up... but Illinois pulls out the set 26-24 and the match three sets to one.

That was certainly entertaining, but in a kind of can't-take-your-eyes-off-a-train-wreck way.

I dunno why but this match just doesn't seem very high level. Illinois finished with twenty blocks. I suppose U-Dub would have won it in three with thirty. Do you have a dog in the B1G as well as the Pac-12? I attended Illinois, but VT won't let me have two different colors... just one. Penn State is not a particularly good point of comparison... U-Dub still is, though. They're playing better as the season is going on, while the Nittany Lions appear to be playing worse.

How does a badger's breath smell? [Note... I didn't ask how badgerbreath smells... that would be TMI.] Like rainbows, insects and earthworms.

Well, that's not true, they are the Pac-12's formidable enemy #1. I suppose I support any scenario that keeps as many Big 10 teams out of the tournament and not hosting as possible....which *could* have been Purdue had they been on the L side of those 5 sets matches against Northwestern and Ohio State. When I said it didn't seem very high quality it's because a lot of those blocks were, IMO just flat out bad hitting. many of the shots, by both teams, were just aggressive swings that were not very smart.

Eh. But on another non-trolling topic, Purdue can't expect to win on the road when Drews is so bad.
