I have zero sympathy for anyone involved. Not for Holman, not for LSU and certainly not for Nebraska (or PSU). They are all taking their lumps. Holman has to sit a year, LSU looks bad, Nebraska doesn't get the player they stole from another program, and PSU missed out. Boo-hoo. Briana's not property or a commodity; she's an autonomous human being. By saying that Nebraska "stole" her undermines her ability to make her own decisions as a female athlete. In no way did Nebraska reach out to her or instigate the transfer. |
