Keil should be a good replacement for the departed Kiara Wright at Florida State. Where is Wright going? She's only a junior and just got there. Also, is FSU just using transfers and not recruiting out of high schools? They have 7 transfers on the roster for 2015, 6 if Wright is leaving. But they have 7 players graduating this Fall (5 of whom are front row contributors) and only one 2016 commit - a libero. Getting a little late to fill that with club players. Wasn't Wright a starter last year?

May Day Basket #3: Molly Haggerty re-opens her college search. Would not be surprised in the slightest if this is true. I expected it to probably happen.

Just curious about his.
Please excuse my naivete but in respect of these transfers and it seems like so many so late in the year are announced. I am getting a sense a deal is often cut between disgruntled players and coaches in December and January where the coach agrees to a release if they can fill the spot with a suitable replacement. Coach and player go about the business of recruiting and when the coach has a yes the deals get agreed. I am only imagining how this works. I am asking if this is the process used to make the best of an unsatisfactory situation to work around and through the NCAA rules, protect a school's program, and give a player a happier college experience? Or did Ebony and Mick (just an example I am not talking specific persons because there are so many like them) discuss and agree this in the last week? Obviously this is at the top level of talent.
How does it work for players that are not "All Conference" who want to move on?

Per Rich Kern Kira Larson will join Alexa Ethridge at Missouri FARGO—Former Fargo North standout Kira Larson has been granted a full release to transfer from the University of Nebraska to play volleyball at the University of Missouri this coming fall. Larson, who is finishing out the academic year at Nebraska, was granted the release from her scholarship by Huskers head coach John Cook in late March and was one of three players to leave the program this spring. The release means Larson does not have to sit out a year and can begin playing immediately for the Tigers, who play in the Southeastern Conference. Louisville is returning to being pretty good. They might be small, but they'll probably have the best passing in the NCAA! If Sauer is the libero along with McClendon and Hatfield-Philo, Eaken (or whoever) could set anyone she wanted. Dont know their roster too well, but that's a solid group right there.
