I feel like Marquette could be okay in a couple of years, but this mass exodus from the program this past year will probably not bode well from the program. Its one thing to have people who haven't received much playing time transfer, but almost all of Marquette's starting line up this past year is gone now. That just seems really weird to me. Yeah. Also when you consider where they went. I'm still inclined to put Bailey in a different bucket than the others. She went from Big East to Big Ten, a decent jump. She can play at a higher level, and chose to go do that. But the others: Long Beach State, Georgia Tech, and Loyola-Chicago. I'm not sure where Loyola-Chicago falls, but I'd categorize Marquette as being on about the same level as Long Beach State and Georgia Tech. These seem like lateral transfers. Benda's from NC, so Georgia is closer to home. Barber is from Germany, so closer to home is kind of relative. And it sounds like there were family considerations involved with Kocken going to Loyola. I dunno, maybe Bailey just started a trend? I'm with you, it just seems.... off. Long Beach State is an upgrade for Nele Barber. She is an international player and will thrive in Brian Gimmillaro's fast paced offense. With all respect, Marquette and Georgia Tech are not on the same level as Long Beach State.

Good for Barber.

Why is Kat Schulz not on Pacific's 2015 roster? Did they just forget to put her on?

Why is Kat Schulz not on Pacific's 2015 roster? Did they just forget to put her on? She quit the sand and indoor teams halfway through the sand season. Rumors were that she wants to play a year of sand only somewhere else. She was very successful in their #1 sand pair.

No idea. USC seems to be the land where all good sand players transfer to eek out one more year. I hope she heads somewhere else.

I mean, she's fantastic on the sand, but I thought she would stay at UCLA.

Don't know how you would miss it, but Ebony Nwanebu to Texas I think because everyone by now had figured out she was going there...

So is Jane Croson playing in college again for one more year or is this just an absurd rumor going around?

Soph OH Niki Withers (Cal State Fullerton) to USC indoor, via her twitter. Didn't catch a lot of Big West matches, how is she? She's only listed as 6'0"

Niki Withers is pretty good but I'm not sure she brings anything to USC that Ford/Ruddins etc don't do better.
