Jordan Dunn has been underutilized in the middle. She is still a bit raw, but is just so much more dynamic than their other options. Plus, she can actually run a slide.

I think the best chance that USC has is against AZ or ASU. And in terms of AZ, a win will depend on whether or not Snuka plays. She's arguably the best player on that team. Not only that but their back-up setter just wasn't that good, especially defensively. I saw so many easy covers but she just stood there and watched them happen.

No they should not make the tournament. Its not by reputation alone (but then again maybe it is)that a team should get in. It should only be by their wins/losses.

I don't see USC pulling off the upset. Just way too inconsistent. It's pretty remarkable how underwhelming USC has been this year with all the talent they have. -Gillis really struggled hitting and passing before she was yanked for Ruddins -Ruddins hasn't been much better, I'm not sure how she was the #2 recruit...she doesn't seem to hit smart shots, nor is she an elite athlete or elite passer/defender -Nwanebu has been recovering all year and isn't the same player she was last season -Abercrombie hasn't gotten off the bench in a long time which is pretty mind boggling considering how highly touted she was -Pizzasegola has had some good moments but just isn't an elite setter -All of USC's middles have had nice moments but they never get set--USC averages about 2.5 kps out of the middle -Bricio has been a stud I'm not sure who USC has coming in next season, but I don't believe they landed any top notch setters or middles which is their biggest need at this point. I really thought USC was going to be a much more formidable squad this year--I hope they do not get into the NCAA tournament, because quite frankly, they don't deserve to. They actually have a top 50 middle and setter for next year. What they need is a top 50 passer

I actually hope they make it. I suspect they'll win one or both of their matches.

More importantly, I definitely hope the Women of Troy "does" understand subject/verb agreement.

They don't appear to have good chemistry as a team. Before they can win they need to get that right and it is probably too late.

That one miss by Ruddins last year that sent the wrong Pac12 team into the Final Four I think broke USC's back. Never really looked impressive or recovered since.

That would be "the wrong team" that beat USC three times last year (twice in Galen) and won the conference, not to mention finishing with about twice as many wins as USC this year. But yeah, blame it all one one swing if it makes you sleep easier at night.

They don't appear to have good chemistry as a team. Before they can win they need to get that right and it is probably too late. Absolutely no leadership on the court for USC. Not one true leader on the team. Great group of girls and we see them continue to try and improve... but no one taking the role to lead that team. Should be Bricio, but clearly she is too shy and quiet. I have followed her career and that is unfair to ask of her she entered SC young and has only just turned 20. Hagglund was a great leader last season and had been but Bricio does everything she can to keep this team competitive. Also English is her second language. The leadership is the least of their problems.
