It's too early to judge this 2017 class compared to Gibby, Cowles and Dieter. Last year's Northern Lights 15-1 team was the first NL team to win both AAU and USAV in the same year with only 1 day of travel/rest between tournaments. Gibby, Cowles and Dieter team at NL 17-1 won both in 2006. Those same three as 16-1 finished 2nd at AAU and 17th at USAV. As 15-1 they finished 5th at AAU and 19th at USAV. Let's see how this NL 16-1 team does this season and next. Also don't forget Sydney Hilley in the 2017 class at MN Select. 2017 is a pretty elite class in it's own right.

The comment on the 2017' class vs the Gibby class comes directly from a member of the U's coaching staff. The exact quote was, "This class is going to go down as the best class Minnesota has seen in the last 20 years...". Go ahead and say I'm a liar (Which I know you will...). Now I will agree with you saying that by the time 2020 comes they will not be proven to be as good as what Gibby's class produced concerning wins and the such but make no mistake, the U of M was fully aware of the quality of this class and many have been saying that if Hugh doesn't do some damage with this class it says something. Bond is a dynamic recruiter. Point Iowa so far... How is it "point Iowa" if Minnesota didn't offer to 2 of the 3 kids?

You are the one who keeps posting things that are not true. Minnesota did not offer to Sheehan or Johnston. You want this to be a coup for Bond? Well, it is. But it doesn't have to be a slap at Minnesota at the same time. Minnesota is focused on other players.
(You are also the one who created a new account to make these posts. Not sure why.)

Wow dude...You are stretchin'. I never said they were offered so get off that bandwagon. My point is that Mn SHOULD have been focused on these players and they were not. Time will tell if the mighty Hugh (can you tell I don't like his coaching?) was right or if he was wrong. I started this account because I have always just read and thought I'd instead participate. Me breaking the news on Orr and Johnston seems to have you a bit upset (easy to see that...). I have a lot of inside tracks to the VB community around here so if it offends you that others no as much as you (or more...) I can't help your feelings getting hurt. Time to stop and move on to the next subject. Let it go Ruffda, let it go...

Why? They think they have targeted better players. It's fine you don't agree with them. But you don't know that they have made the wrong decision. And to trumpet this as a score for Bond OVER Minnesota is simply not fair.
You are also lying about starting an account. This is not your first account. What I don't know is why you are lying -- or why you deleted the last account.

OMG...Yes I think the U should have concentrated on them. Thats OK to say or is it "your way or the Hwy"? Its Ok to see things differently. Enough already. What the heck would it matter if I had an account before or if this is new? WHO CARES! Now go take your medicine, it's time for your nappy...

As I have stated previously, Bond has never had trouble recruiting. In fact he's a pretty darn good recruiter so its not really surprising that he's getting good kids to commit. However, the proof will be in the pudding( as it was at Georgia Tech) in getting them to perform up to their capabilities and expectations.

I think I made it clear I have no problem with your opinion. What I am objecting to is the implication that Bond got commitments from players the U offered to. Period.

Find where I said the U made an offer to Sheehan and Johnston and I will shut up and go away. You can't so thus I am not lying. If it makes you happy this is my 19th account I have had over the years. i just find it fun to use different names every once in a while. Your well past your nap now...

Point Iowa so far... See you. ...and how in that sentence do you see me saying there was an offer? HE NEVER offered them. That's my point Sherlock! He should have! Duh...
