found this video on Hawaii News Now, but it doesn't sound like the one volleyballfan99 is talking about. maybe there's another one? No,you have the right one, that's from Hawaii News Now, 6 and 10pm sports clip on Monday. I recorded it,and looked at it very closely in slow motion. Higgins sets Magill 2 times showing the complete hits, and once to Maglio. Robyn's one set, was to Maglio not Magill. Higgins three sets to Magill twice and once to Maglio looked good and high to me. Someone's stirring the pot as usual. Dave Shoji talks about the team. Position by position, including his comments about the newcomers.

I think it's pretty clear that his starters will be Olevao and Greeley on the left, Magill and Maglio in the middle, Higgins at setter, Taylor opposite and Kahakai at libero. Mitchem will play. No matter how much has been said about Huff's progress, there's no spot for her so she'll continue to be the blocking sub on the right. And even though Shoji mentioned the three other DS are even, I think he's still gonna go with Anderson as the first DS. I don't see Koelsch getting increased playing time. Higgins is it for Shoji. I think Granato will play at some point. Shoji seems pretty high on her.

So excited for this season! Long time lurker here, but finally decided to jump in the conversation. I have been watching and cheering for Hawaii on TV as a kid since Kahumoku and Willoughby were tearing it up.

Every time the volleyball season rolls around in late August, I ask myself, "Jeez, what have I accomplished this past year?"
Only the onset of each new vb season triggers this question.

Let's just put it this way, at least you have witnessed Hawai'i raise the NC championship. I'm hoping that I get to see that this year AND next year!

We're all hoping for the same thing. A national championship would be sweet but i don't think it'll happen this year. There are still too many uncertainties. I think the only school that's confident it can win it all (again) is PSU. I really hope not because it's so boring when the same school(s) wins year after year.

Next year with Higgins, Mitchem and Taylor as seniors, it will be Shoji's and all the Na Wahine supporter's, best shot at going far in post season. I'm thinking FF. Yes,and I also think Shoji is sticking around for probably his last year in 2016.

Yeah, this is a strong group at all positions which is what is so exciting. The question marks for me are setting and passing. Those were the weaknesses last year and we really don't know if they have greatly improved in those areas until we see them in action. Can't wait for Friday!

Yep me too brah only two more days. I'm renovating my hale so look like i gotta go to my sisters place to watch the game. Oh and guarantee Dave made it a point of emphasis to work on the passing and setting. They were both a little off last year. Tayler will be much better i'm sure of it.

I feel that if a poster states a school name incorrectly, that poster should suffer the same fate with his own favorite school. For example, someone on Cindy's blog referred to Oregon State as "Oregon." Well, next time someone replies to that poster, they should refer to Hawaii as "Hawaii State U."
Eye for an eye.
