UW fans must be gutted right now, seeing Nebraska only bring their best game against them and then not put up a fight the next day.
Congrats to BYU I guess. I remember them playing Oregon a couple of years ago, in one of the most boring matches in the tournament. However it was clear Hamson was going to be a force from her height advantage.

Congrats to BYU! Back in their Mountain West days I always disliked them, as they challenged Utah, which was my favorite team at the time. Nowadays, thanks to the BYU network, I see them play quite regularly and find them to be an extremely well rounded team. So happy for them! Sad that Nebraska couldn't make the Final 4 in some other bracket. What bracket would that be? Means you would have to beat psu Stanford or Texas. It be the same lvl in any of the other three brackets. BYU will take on Texas. And as much as I love Texas, BYU will win this match-up. I pick Stanford over Penn State in the other semifinal match.

Mark my words, mock me if you like.....Alohi Robins-Hardy will be the future setter of the national team! I'm calling it now. I might be trolling, I might be not. Ok, I just drank a bottle of wine. But look at her, she's very much the Alisha Glass prototype that Karch likes...and has potential to be even better. Silly rabbit. For the record I'm a Hancock fan but as far as setters for national team, carlini is prob better then hardy on bum leg. Have u not payed attention to volleyball at all.

Man this BYU team is good. How did they get swept by Santa Clara?? Would anybody be surprised if BYU were to knock off Texas and reach the final match? The level of completion goes up. Texas psu and Stanford play at extremely high lvl. All three are way more potent then Nebraska. I don't expect any more matches looking that easy for byu. The other three left are strong in most aspects of game I wouldnt count byu out tho. People continue to dismiss them and lets face the simple fact that Texas hasnt faced a team that can block like byu. I would add that Texas might be the best draw for byu because stanford and penn st are probably the 2 best teams in the country right now

The Stanford-Penn State match will be a battle for sure. Both tied for NCAA Titles at 6 each....

Just stating that Texas psu and Stanford are on higher lvl all round then Nebraska. Plus those three have been pretty consistant all year where Nebraska has been all over place

No Haley has the ability to adjust and she hits high hands sometimes also she has that amazing inside angle cut shot to avoid the block Neal not so much. I think the biggest problem for Neal will be trying to block Hamson. 5'10" vs. 6'7", should be entertaining.

Congrats to BYU. For what it's worth, after I saw the trouble FSU had vs. the BYU block, I thought UW would have had a lot of trouble tonight even had they beaten Nebraska last night. UW has already played BYU and beat them in 5 sets in Provo. However, It probably would have been a more entertaining and close match.

Nebraska volleyball under John Cook. That doesn't even make sense since he's been there less than 15 years. Whoa! I was afraid you had gone and died on us or something. Nice to see you post something again.

I certainly think byu and tx will be a competitive match but I wouldn't count tx out that easily. Tx also is a good blocking team and also has a lot of players with final four and nc experience. Byu lost to csu who texas handled pretty easy...but then again tx lost to ou. It should be a fun match, I'm excited for it.

BYU vs Texas will be strength vs strength (front row) and weakness vs weakness (back row), tho I was very impressed with BYU's scrappiness tonight . Even Hamsen had some nice digs. Texas serves tougher thank FSU or Nebraska, and if they can limit service errors, I think that's where they may have an advantage. BYU's passing can breakdown, which is I believe how they lost to Santa Clara. Still think BYU is playing very well right now and wouldn't be surprised if they won.

I was thinking why would you hit at hamson but then you have the no1 blocker in the nation in young next to her so either way your screwed lol
I love how someone who many would say is undersized at middle blocker is number 1 in the nation in blocks per set!

I was very impressed with Hamson getting all 6-7 of herself down on the floor and making digs about an inch off the plastic tonight.

BYU Setter from Hawaii led team in digs.
Would love to see BYU take it all.. May see two exhausted teams in the championship. Stanford/PSU should be a war..

Would love to see Stash Olmstead's team take it all.
(BTW, how ironic is it that BYU bans beards? Joseph Smith couldn't be hired as an assistant volleyball coach.)
